Awesome bakery! Only been there on two occasions. I was able to contact them after hours when they rescued me in the time of need! I had a situation to where my birthday cake was destroyed. The manager was so understanding and sweet! She came all the way back to work and contacted me and offered me another cake. After I explained to her what happened and showed her the damage. She explained to me why it happened and also told me that it also happened to her and that because I had strawberry filling in the cake, that's why my top layer slid off and that in the future that I should put my cakes on a flat surface with fillings such as strawberry or filling that is prone to slide. ☺

It was okay. Everything was high on sweetness and low on actual flavor. It wasn't necessarily bad, but also not particularly good.

I URGE EVERYONE NOT TO GO HERE. I ORDERED MY CAKE 3 WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME. ONCE I GOT THE. CAKE THE COLORS WEREN'T HOW I WANTED THEM. BY THE TIME I MADE IT TO THE EAST FROM METARIE THE CAKE HAD DONE FELL APART ALL THREE LAYERS. I CALLED THE OWNER OF METARIE KIM ANTOINE AND SHE TOLD ME TO GO ACROSS THE RIVER IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC TO LET THEM FIX THE CAKE. ONCE I GOT TO GRETNA ALL THE DECORATORS WERE GONE AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND. THIS ISN'T THE FIRST CAKE THAT FELL APART BUT BY ME TRYING TO GIVE BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES A CHANCE I WENT BACK. PLEASE NEVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY AFTER KIM KNEW MY CAKE FELL APART HER AND HER HUSBAND GREG STOPPED ANSWERING THEIR PHONES.

As soon as u walk in the shop it smells like heaven. I went there to pick up a wedding cake and while I was waiting I couldn't stop looking at all the treats. Let's just say the smell of the shop definitely goes with how the treats taste. The cake was also amazing. It was nice and moist and icing was amazing also. Will be returning very very soon.
