visiting from out of town, needed to get a king cake ( I mean, c'mon, New Orleans). Quick 10 min drive from the hotel, has king cakes year round. On a whim I also bought a slice of pineapple/almond cake. 

Service was very very good - sweet and patient lady behind the counter. Got back to the room and had the goodies - oh my gosh, great cake and king cake. Whenever I find something so good out of town its a mixed feeling event. I'm glad to have found such a good place, sad I don't live here to experience it regularly =(

I ordered a king cake on January 10th. The young lady who took my order was extremely polite & very helpful. She even asked what time would I like it to be available. I said 3:00 P.M., January 11th. I paid for it, she thanked me. Next day (January 11th), I arrived at 3:30 P.M., & I was told by a totally different worker that it is completed. It will be done in an hour (that would make it 4:30 P.M.). I said fine. Things happen. You can get backed up or busy. I came back at 5:45 P.M., to allow them more time. I get there & now I'm given MULTIPLE EXCUSES not just from the one I spoke to, but another one who works the front from it is being iced, it will be done in 5 minutes to the man has to get pecans to when was it supposed to have been ready & when did you order it? I didn't get my king cake until 6:20 P.M. That's a very long 5 minutes! When I get it, cream cheese is oozing out of 2 sides of it & it is not even warm. So it wasn't being iced or whatever they called it. They were too busy pushing other king cakes out for sale & obviously didn't cate about mine because they already had collected my money the prior day & it was safely in the company's bank account. A great initial experience has been turned into a very unprofessional, upsetting experience. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Called a month ago to place order for a drangonballz cake. The lady that answered the stated, “they do not carry that cake kit.” I offered to buy one. SHE SAID, “ That’s fine.” A month later I call to order the cake ( kit just arrived) now being told the do except outside cake kits... The manager and barley clerk were very rude didn’t even try to come up with a  solution. JUST NO!!! I don’t mind the cost just stop with the lies... WASTE OF MY TIME!!! NOW, I HAVE TO FIND A PLACE BEFORE SATURDAY (sons bday) TO BAKE A CAKE FOR ME WITH THE KIT I ORDERED... I WOULD MAKE SURE MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY KNOW TO NEVER GO THERE..... Just a disappointments

Always fresh and flavorful! They KNOW baking. Never overpriced!

Don't order a king cake from them online! Poor communication...still have no clue when my family out of town should expect their king (Queen) cake!
