My husband and I picked Apex dental thinking they would be professional, knowledgeable and ethical.  The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.  In the year that we have been customers, we have met so many different employees that it is impossible to keep up. There is NEVER a straight knowledgeable answer as far as insurance is concerned and that is because they don't care!! Not only do they not care, they DON'T KNOW AND ARE TOO BUSY GETTING NEW PATIENTS IN AND NEW DENTAL STUDENTS SO THEY CAN KEEP ON MAKING THEIR MONEY.  I moved from Florida and this place, even though it looks very high end with all their expensive gadgets (which I am sure they owe and have to pay) doesn't even hold a candle to a mediocre dentist in Florida.
Mimi who is the supposed financial expert has so much to learn as far as social skills, customer satisfaction and dealing with customers. 
We urge anyone that might be considering Apex dental for treatment to really think it twice because they are far from professional and definitely NOT trustworthy.
If negative stars were available that's where they would fall because my husband and I dare say it is all smelling "fishy".

I used to work here for a short period of time. In that small period there were new employees every week. Now that I have worked there I understand why people don't want to work here. Dr. Maio the co- owner is a hypocrite and is not a follow through kinda person. He says to be professional and yet he is not. He drops the f-bomb multiple times at staff meetings and in the office when patients are not around. Integrity is not something most of the apex staff values. I have no issues with swearing. I swear all the time but never in a professional setting. Having said all of this I would never ever recommend getting dental treatment here! If you want quality care and personal, genuine professionals go somewhere else! They do a half way job in every way.

First visit today for a cleaning and WOW! The staff is amazing! Everyone was so great to help with all concerns and questions. Lia, Mayan, and Shelby my Hygienist. Loved them all. Great place for Dental care

We LOVE Apex Family Dental! Everyone is always so friendly, and manage to treat my family of 6 like royalty--or at least like family--every time we go in, or even call. I can't say enough good about them. Thanks, Apex!

After paying for services on the day they were done and being told that they had already checked insurance so all charges were covered, I received a bill 2 months later for additional payment (already with a finance charge too). I called their billing offices and was told that they billed incorrectly and that they would look into it and call me right back. They never called back so I assumed it was taken care of. Another month later I received another bill (with another finance charge). This time when I try to call they won't even transfer me to billing and just keep telling me they will call back... which never happened. After calling multiple times and dealing with the extremely rude receptionist, I finally spoke to someone who had a totally different explanation of the bill that was not at all what I was told before. Even though they are always running behind on appointments, I had always had a fairly good experience during cleanings but just the service and deceptive billing has made it so I will never go back.
