It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the broccoli was good. Ordered 6oz steak with onions and mushrooms and a side of broccoli. First bite was cold as the weather outside in November. Pretty sure they just nuked the whole plate and 40 seconds later it’s warm. Great, the steak was tough as is and now it’s like eating a Michelin. Waitress seemed annoyed with me wanting warm food. Overall disappointing and probably won’t be back for quite some time.

Where to start... Service was poor. The hostess, who seemed to be training someone was sitting down and playing on her phone or eating food from a different place during our whole meal. So that’s professional. But to our ‘surprise’ we look over to see servers sitting at the bar also on their phones. Our waitress was very unattentive and not knowledgeable about beers on tap or food items. I ordered something without gravy but she neglected to tell me that was literally all vegetables that would come on the plate. The new host (we think) got us a refill on beer, then was the one to informed me that was where all the veggies were, and got me a side of the “gravy” which was not exactly what the menu described. So I was going to wait for her to come back to at least get a side of something to give the plate literally made up only of steak chunks and potatoes any flavor. She never once stopped while we were eating but then asked if we needed anything as we were literally stacking plates. Then rushed us out, by instead of doing the cordial, servers ediquette and just bringing change, she stood at the end of the table wait for us to count cash to put in the check book, and stated “no change, right?” The time she stood waiting for us to pay her was the longest we had her at our table. The friendliest person was trainee.

This is the only bad review I've ever left. I don't even like leaving it, but I love Applebees and I hate to see it go downhill becauae of terrible staff. My husband and I never get to go out with our children because he works on the road. We went here on Saturday and had the worst dining experience of my life. The food was pretty good. The service was horrible. Besides the fact that she walked past us 12 times before greeting our table, she was so incredibly rude and treated us like burdens. She was short with my kids when they didn't speak up and basically rolled her eyes at us when we ordered. It was clear she had a bad day. I get it. I was in the service industry for 15 years. Being rude and nasty to a guest who has done nothing to you because you had a bad day? Totally uncalled for. I grossly overtip and we left her zero. First no tip in my 37 years. I will be back, but I will stick with carside to go. That service is always top notch!

Absolutely horrible service! Food didn't come out all at once and when it all finally came out it was cold. Manager couldn't even come up and say anything. Manager sent waitress to ask if we wanted anything else. We didn't even have the meal that was sent back untouched taken off the bill. We had 2 plates with food on it and we weren't even asked if we wanted boxes. After coming here for 7 years we will never be back.

Ran by a bunch of college kids. Food was not cooked well, server never refilled our water or asked how the food was. Dissapointing all around. Workers all were sitting at a table talking trash about a manager or other employees.
