Alas, this restaurant was flat-out understaffed on the evening we were there. We were there for an early dinner, it was not busy at all and it was 45 minutes before our meal arrived. The waitress pleasant and clearly doing the best she could. The food was good I thought and served hot. But the overall service was just out of control. Two and a half stars.

Went in for lunch at about 1 and the place wasn't crowed. Our server was decent but the wait on our food took at least an hour. By the time our food arrived, the fries and other sides were cold, the ribs were dry and overcooked and we weren't even that hungry anymore. It's no wonder this chain seems to be going out of business and closing some locations down.

Excellent service all around. The hostess, waiters/waitresses and the manager were really nice. The food was cooked perfect and the wait wasn't bad at all.

Sat there for half an hour and the only thing I got was a Pepsi. Server didn't even come back to take my order. Never going back.

It took Apple Bees on Nicholasville Road forever to make my  medium well steak for lunch. It came burned on the outside and still too pink on the inside and hard as rubber to cut.  I ordered a side of sauteed mushrooms for $2.69.  I got a little cup with about 2 - 3 mushrooms cut up.  What a RIP OFF!  Onions were burned.  One end of my steak was nothing but a big old blob of FAT!  I'm not talking just a little bit here either.  Worst restaurant in Lexington, KY right along with Longhorn Steak House on Harrodsburg Road. I've only found one good Apple Bees in this country and that is in Chicopee, MA.   Pam DeZorzi
