Story

Since we opened our first restaurant in Boardman, OH, in 1964, we’ve been serving quality meats on handcrafted sandwiches. We call this transformation from a cut of meat to a delicious sandwich “Meatcraft™”, and our dedication to Meatcraft™ informs every decision we make. From the sandwiches we serve to our curly fries, shakes and sides, everything we do is in service to the meats. It’s why we get to work every morning at 8 a.m. even though we don't open until 11. Good food takes time to prepare, and we’re happy to put in the time to make your meal great.

The staff did not seem to be able to communicate on an even semi-intelligent manner. We ordered a sandwich and after the fact was informed that they were out of that type of bun. So we asked to substitute another bun. Then we were told that they were out of that kind of meat. Why not just say that the sandwich is not available. They were out of napkins and had a package from a local store still in the plastic wrap on the counter with a pile of wet wipes. The counters were wet with spills. I'm surprised we didn't get sick with the level of cleanliness. I'd hope that it's not like this all the time. Other than that, the food was fine.

The food was ok, no complaint there. The service was sub-par. The bathroom was not clean. The condiments were empty. No garbage outside. Just not impressed. If you're heading west to Arby's in Worthington if you can wait. That one is very good.

First, food... I ordered a chicken sandwich meal and both the chicken and the fries were clearly "reheated" and not fresh like most Arby's restaurants. I couldn't bite into the outside edges of the chicken and I threw half of it away along with my reheated, overcooked fries. Next, cleanliness... Women's restroom was out of toilet paper and was dirty. The unit that holds the straws and lids at the drink & condiment counter was disgusting. Majority of the tables were unwashed leaving only a couple spots to choose from. The walls of the booth seats were dirty as well as the floor. Also most, if not all of the booth seats were torn. Lastly, employees​... The female employee at the register that took our order didn't seem too friendly. She seemed almost irritated to be there taking our order.

Screwed up order, no change, no lids out for cups, ketchup was out, no clean tables, no large to go bags! Food was decent. Definitely wouldn't recommend eating inside!!!
