My friends and I camped here and had a great time. Giving it 3 instead of 5 stars for a lot of small reasons. nothing that should deter most from coming but stuff I wish I'd known when choosing where to camp.
1) we rented 3 kayaks and one was defective. Full of water inside the body.
2) we all got hundreds of flea bites from the sand near the river. Not sure if it's just that space where we were but we're so itchy now!!!
3) pretty much everyone here is zooming around on ATVs so you kinda feel like you're at a motor cross rally. Great if you have an ATV but annoying if you're trying to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
4)  No amenities to speak of and It was $150 for 4 people to camp for two nights. Other places I've paid $10 for the same and had a fire ring and picnic table at least. 

We made a lot of memories and had a good time. The scenery is pretty, but as far as quality and value of the facilities go it's just okay.

I camped here several years ago and loved it so much I recommended it to my friend who spent almost $900 to stay here and then we were charged $14 to visit him at his campsite for a few hours. That was disappointing to me. I understand the need to charge an entrance fee but there should be some system in place to allow for visitors who don't use any amenities or spend the night. Overall a fun place.

Always  a great time. Very family friendly. My boys love being able to ride fourwheelers, go swimming and attempting  to find shark teeth. I highly  recommend this campground.

I've been coming here for over 2 decades.  It is an amazing part of Florida, frozen in time.  You can also find some amazing shark teeth in the river.

Great fun camping with my family. We've been there many times before. The people answering the phone are a bit rude. It's also a bit pricey but all in all worth it to get away and have a real camping experience.
