We had a lovely stay in this simple, yet elegant and classy inn. Very reasonably priced for the area, it feels much more personable than a standard hotel. It's quiet and peaceful and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and everything was fresh. The coffee was great. We would highly recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed in room 7. The bed is old and worn. I had to "sleep" in the center anchored to my husband so I didn't roll out the side. The shower was the shortest I have ever taken because I couldn't take the noise of it screaming at me. There is actually a sign in the room asking you to tip the housekeeper to show your satisfaction, on a table with dust that is thick enough to write in. Lastly, when we opted not to stay for breakfast, the owner harassed my husband about it while he checked out.

Burt was great! I definitely would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxed environment without all the fluff and a place to bring your pups too. We definitely will be back!

Place is awesome. Don't expect all the bells and whistles. Just great people, great owner and great food. Well done

The owner was as nice as can be right from the first phone call to the absolutely wonderful breakfast he cooked for us.  This motel was a breath of fresh air in our travels in New England.  Highly recommend :)
