Sears Home Warranty dispatched Arctic Air to check out an issue with out furnace. My tech arrived on-time and immediately put on booties so as not to track any dirt on our carpet. Very thoughtful. He was thorough, efficient, and professional. He explained the issues that he found, fixed what he could, ordered the necessary parts, and wrote-up a detailed report of his work. I will definitely use this company in the future whenever I have an HVAC issue at our home. I found them to be professional, courteous, and competent in every respect. The technician was also very patient in answering my many questions so that I understood the nature and extent of the issue, and he even offered his opinion as to the best and most economical options for improving our home heating system.

We had Arctic Air out for several jobs (including 1 home owner warranty) and we were very pleased with their work. They took the time to discuss our issues over the phone even before coming out. We had a gas line moved and a new pump installed on our boiler. Excellent work as far as we are concerned.

Our home warranty company assigned them on Thursday 12/28 at 6:00 pm to fix our heat. It was 10 degrees out for several days. I called that night to see if they could come in the morning. The phone person was rude, I thought oh here we go. They came out on a Friday 12/29 afternoon at 1:30 pm and supposedly resolved the problem. The tech was very nice but didn't bring a flashlight and was using a Bic lighter for visibility around my gas furnace. He got it running and thought it was a gas valve intake issue. By Saturday 12/30 night, the furnace had kicked off again. I started calling them at 6:45 am on Sunday 12/31 morning. I called at 9:45, 10:45, 11:45, and 12:45. They kept dispatching the "on call" person. I never heard back. I tried again on Monday 1/1 at 9:00 am. They couldn't believe I hadn't heard from anyone and told me to call back in 30 minutes if I didn't hear. I called back at 9:30 am and that same person told me they would not be sending anyone out on the New Year's Day holiday and call back on Tuesday. No one ever told me anything like that on Sunday 12/31. I wasted 36 hours trying to get them back. I texted the same sales rep who was at my house on Friday to see if he had any suggestions since it was still 10 degrees out. He tried to help via text which I appreciated considering his employer was so unprofessional. Then I wasted another 3 hours getting our home warranty company on the phone to approve an emergency authorization to get a different company to come on 1/1. On Monday 1/1 at 4:30 pm, a DIFFERENT reputable company arrived. About 5:30 pm they said I had an air intake problem, nothing wrong with gas intake. It was the simplest most basic resolution once all was said and done, which makes the whole story and 60 hours without a working furnace over four days of 10 degree weather more INFURIATING. Arctic Air did not resolve the problem, nor were they professional about scheduling or helping me when I had a second issue. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We were assigned this company by our Home Warranty company in early october. The tech that was sent out was great and informative and did his initial assessment. One week later he came back to work on the heating unit that was broken. After some much needed reconfiguration he got to the unit and told us that he had to come back another time because he wasnt familiar with the model. A week goes by and I hear nothing so I call twice a day on Tuesday-Friday to only get the same response each time of "oh we'll call you right back with an update." I then call Monday morning (4 weeks after the initial consultation) to still try and get any sort of answer and I get told that we need to contact our home warranty again because they dont have the capability to fix the problem. Thanks for nothing Arctic. We have now had no heat for over a month and you have delayed us from getting a more qualified company to come in and fix the problem. Extremely unprofessional practice and would have really appreciated an update without me having to call you 9 times before i got an answer. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

These people are terrible! Rude technicians, the owner is also rude. They installed a new central air system that was not working within a year. One excuse after another. Finally had to hire another company to get it right.
