We just sold my mother's house in Bountiful.  Overall it was a great experience.  Here is data from the settlement statement:  commission to the Buyer's realtor: $9,006.75.  Our commission to ARI:  $745.  Doesn't that tell it all?  It would have cost us an additional $8,261 by going the traditional way.  Instead,  all that money stayed in our pocket.  People who know real estate know this:  3% for the listing broker is way in excess to what they actually do.  This is way overpaid--period--end of story.  The buyer's broker is different.  They are driving their clients all around kingdom come and they are actually doing real work.    The listing broker takes pictures, puts up a sign, fills out all the paperwork (about 2 hours time) and puts it in multiple listings.  The multiple listings (available to brokers and all others on the internet) connect the potential buyers.  They help with negotiating back and forth (at most another 2 hours work).  As a seller, you have to do a little of the leg work using ARI:  get the lot size, legal description and take the pictures.  You also put up the "for sale" sign.  I also printed flyers to go with the "for sale" sign.  I had 4 hours work in this and saved $8,261.  If you need a lock box, they have that included.  An appraisal?  that is included.  I have another house to sell next Summer and I plan on using ARI again.  With this house I plan on saving over $19,000.

ARI has helped us for the past 12 year in buying all  four of our homes. I wouldn't think of using anyone else! Such a great honest trustworthy company. ARI is currently helping us in our sale of our home and the purchase of our new home. Everything has gone so smoothly and the agent is very knowledgeable and quick with getting things done. I recommend all my friends and family to use ARI when buying or selling their homes. So smooth and easy ! Wonderful company :)
