Chris and his wife were so accommodating. From the time we called to make reservations to when we arrived. The park is still in the process of being upgraded since the new owners took over the first of July but they make you feel like you're kin 😊 There are only seven spaces for big rig pull thru's and fairly tight quarters but we're excited to see what it will be like in the next few months. We will return if we pass this way again. Good luck with your new venture.

Conveniently located off the Interstate, it was a good place to drop anchor and spend the night. I was stuck there up on my levelers, but the owners had "a guy" who was an RV repairman who came out and got me at least into a position to travel. He advised me that my RV had a failed 12v converter which drained off the battery even though I was on shore power. Long story short, he got me down off the levelers and I was able to roll out back to Ohio. The owners are nice people, but may be in over their heads...time will tell. Their customer service and "southern hospitality" are great!

Very beautiful setting in the trees. Super nice restrooms and shower house. We just stayed overnight. Would definitely stay there again.

The park has real potential, but with the attitude of the person running it, we will not be back. I told him the size of our 5th wheel when I made the reservation. He put us in a spot where the slide on one side is 6 inches from a pine tree and the steps on the other side are 18" from the neighbor's sewer hookup! Then he complained because our slides were so wide! There are plenty of other spots empty. He also insisted on cash. I don't quite know what's going on, but after these two nights, he won't have to fret about the size of our 36' fifth wheel ever again.

We stayed here one night in March 2015 on our way from Michigan to Texas. Normally we'd stay at a State park but the nearest was 6 miles off the road and we were tired and ready to stop. I called ahead and was given a site number and instructions on how to pay from a friendly man. The campground is not especially scenic or level but has electric and water. We couldn't find a dumpster for our trash. It was convenient to the highway, *but* --it was close to the highway and road noise was loud all night. The bathrooms were indeed nicely decorated, if a bit eclectic, and very clean with lots of hot water. Not a destination campground but a decent place to park for the night.
