Just got home from a short trip here with my wife. We both loved this RV Park. It is very clean and well laid out. What little interaction we had with the staff was great. They are very nice and friendly. The store in the office area has most anything you would need. It was a little chilly to use the pool but it looked great. It is a large park but they are still in the process of adding more sites. We only live about two hours away and are going to make this our go to place for short trips when we just need to get away for a few days.

This place is truly big rig friendly. We are 75 ft long and there were multiple sites we would fit in. They have zip lines, docks, kayaks to rent, hiking trails, a clubhouse, and so much more. If you want a resort RV park this is definitely it!

The facility is very nice. Beatuiful Restroom facility and patio. Great fire pits, picnic tables, and grills at every site. There is a nice lake/ stream and disc golf. These are the only reasons this place gets a 2 from me... this place is very crowded and sites are right next to each other. If you are looking for a quite and sacluded outdoor camping experience in the woods. This is not the place for you. We camped in a tent and had two other tents between us that where less than 10 feet away on both sides. We had a family with 2 screaming toddlers right beside us and fighting couple on the other side. There was also barking dogs all night and new construction machines started up at 8am. Not a very big ground, we where disappointed in the lack of hiking trails. We did go during spring break so maybe it would have been a better experience during a slower season?

Note: This review is edited after a call with Catherine's landing regarding my 1st review. I did recommend that they provide a map with detailed directions on their website to minimize the problems we had getting to the resort. I really hope they follow through. The resort is very hard to get to. We got lost trying to follow the sketchy directions on the website. Hot Springs has small roads with little room to turn around which added to our frustration and delay in getting to the resort. When we initially called for help, the staff member's directions lacked detail or a desire to help. We had to place a second call for assistance 20 minutes later where we did receive detailed instructions that were helpful in getting to the resort. If the resort hasn't placed a map on their website by the time you read this, I'd recommend that you stop at the intersection of 270 and Carpenter Dam Rd and call for details directions. Once we arrived, the resort looked nice, but it was too late for us to enjoy much of the facilities. Long way off the freeway for what you get if you're passing through to another destination. The hassle in getting there might be worth it if you plan to spend a few days.

Second time to this campground and we absolutely love it here. We stayed an extra day because we hated to leave. Grounds are immaculate, bathrooms are super clean, staff is excellent..I can’t say enough good things about this place. The back in sites on the water offer amazing views of the river. We already booked for 2018 Thanksgiving trip and we can’t wait!
