ARS got the job done! We had mold in our kitchen in two places. I had them remove lathe and plaster from our ceiling. When they left I peeked in the kitchen window and felt that they needed to remove more. They happily came back and removed more for me. The kitchen cabinets were removed and tossed from a leaky faucet that definitely had mold. I received a competitor quote but due to the busy season it took the competitor 4 weeks to get back to me just to tell me they worked up a quote which had a ton of line items and who knows when they would actually schedule me. We were suffering with black mold systems and decided to call ARS and they came to the rescue. They gave me a quote within 48 hours and got the removal done within a week. We asked to keep the air scrubber going extra days and we were happy to pay extra for that. The representative who gave the quote was extremely knowledgeable and had great tools. Including one that measured the dampness in the walls. I recommend having mold tested before and after you use a mold remediation company .. it should cost between $150 - $350 each time to do so depending on how many tests you have done. We decided to do the construction (new sink, cabinet, countertop, plumbing) ourselves after the fact so we could do it piece by piece. If you are limited on budget this is one of those things you have to do.

This company is not serious and clearly overcharges its customers. We were given an estimate of $30 an hour for two cleaning ladies ($15 each) and they charged us $60/hour. When we called to figure out what the discrepancy was they did not recognize their mistake. If we had been given the right information we would have never hired them. $30 an hour for someone to use a rag and some soap seems very excessive to me.

Nice folks. I called them for general advice, and knowing I was not the owner of the property in question, and not in a position to hire them, they gave their advice freely. My rating is limited to an impression from a helpful phone call.
