If I could rate 1 star, I would have. I needed some color slides that were chosen to be included in an upcoming movie to be converted to high resolution TIFF's for submission to the producer. I was given 3 different prices, and finally ended with $5/slide due to the hi-res. I specified 4000 DPI TIFF, waited 4 days. Asked if I could see them while I was in the store, and told I could not - they didn't have a computer to open the files ????. When I viewed the images at home, they were low resolution JPEG's. I'd expect this type of photography service from a dry cleaner. Won't be returning to Art's, ever.

Always smiling and helpful when I walk in the door. The staff makes sure I am being helped and is very willing to answer all my questions.

Excellent place to buy a camera.  I called first because I was looking for a new lens, and some other equipment.  The person who answers the phone was really polite, and checked on what I was looking for.  When I got there,  the sales associate Allison Krenz was very knowledgeable, and actually helped me put together the gear I needed to take the types of pictures I wanted.  She let me try out the gear, and showed me all the different features of everything I was considering.  She answered all my questions, and offered a lot of helpful tips.  I think overall this place is really good, and I'm so glad I came.  I'd recommend this place to anyone over buying online any day.  It's worth it to have great people helping you buy good equipment.

The Sports and Action Photography class was one of my best learning experiences. I gained insights that will improve my photos. The instructor tailored his comments to each of us and the camera that each participant is using. Everyone in the store is eager to assist in answering questions. There is no pressure to make a purchase when they spend time with you.
