We at Artesia Animal Clinic are dedicated to providing comprehensive care to your large and small animals in a caring environment. We encourage preventative medicine and annual wellness exams. We provide daily surgical services, appointments and walk-in services during business hours. If your animal becomes ill after hours, we provide an on-call emergency service to ensure prompt answers and care.

Dr. Young has been at Artesia Animal Clinic since 1998 and owned it since 2004. He is active in the veterinary profession serving as the past president of the NMVMA and acting as the NM delegate to the AVMA house of delegates. He was the 2003 New Mexico veterinarian of the year. He is an ALIRT veterinarian involved in the survellience of foreign animal diseases. He has been married for over 36 years to Glenda Joyce and is the proud grandfather of Hannah Grace, Jonah Markus and Micah June Williams.
