We currently use Catalina Water in all of our aquariums, which is ocean water shipped right from Catalina, CA.

Catalina Water Inc. has developed a state-of-the-art filtration system that combines the use of oxygen (O2) converted into ozone (O3) and UV Sterilization. This destroys any bacteria or harmful microorganisms and, when used in conjunction with charcoal and sand, it will remove any heavy metals and toxins. This system eliminates any possibility of contaminants in the water. Providing a much healthier ans safe environment for your fish to live in.

I found Artistic Aquariums when I was searching for a new tank, and being fairly new to the hobby I had 1 million questions.  I was put in touch with Craig who helped me pick out a Red Sea Reefer 450.  With a million options on equipment for the tank Craig took his time and explained everything to me, and helped get me a quote for a "turn key" setup.  He never once made me feel rushed and took his time to make sure I had the "best" setup for me.  Being a newbie I also wanted some help getting the new tank setup.  Eric came out the house and got my equipment setup, filled the tank with water, rock and sand.  Eric was very helpful and kept me updated on when he could make it over.  Since the tank has been running both Craig and Eric have always been there to help and answer all my questions, as well as guide me on the right path to success.  I've also been the the store several times when Candace is working and she has also been very polite and helpful.  The whole staff at Artistic Aquariums is amazing and their customer service is 2nd to none.  They have earned a lifetime customer and I will continue to recommend everyone to go check these guys out!

My girlfriend and I like to visit all sorts of shops around the valley and Artistic Aquariums Inc. is easily the best. Firstly, each tank is so well taken care of and looks gorgeous every time we visit. We have been there about 3 times and each time it was someone different, but we didn't feel like we were being judged any time. Each staff member was extremely knowledgeable and was not trying to sell to us just to sell, but ensured that every item/ animal we showed interest in was for the suited for our set up! Absolutely wonderful experience and worth the drive.

Artistic Aquariums is such a great store! I've been coming here for about a year for all my livestock, fish and coral food and Catalina water, and my tank has never looked so good. The owners and staff are all so friendly and helpful, they have made special orders for me several times in the past and text me when deals or specials are starting. The store has a great selection for the size and all their tanks and livestock are extremely well maintained. They also have very competitive prices on high end dry goods, and frequently match or beat most online retailers. All the success I've had with my current tank I attribute to finding this store, thank you Artistic Aquariums!

Walking in you can feel that the place is legit. Your skin and nose can tell that the salt water is balanced perfectly. Looking around you can confirm it with your eyes. The fish, sharks and eels are active and interested in the world around them the way you've never seen  in any pet or animal equipment store before.
