I found this place via Yelp. I am always scouting for West Africa food since I married my husband who is from there. Whereas I might think a dish tastes fine, he is very picky because he is comparing it to the food he grew up on and his mother and aunts served. He is happy with the flavoring of Michael’s cooking. The spinach dish was right on in taste and consistency. We also had some Jollof rice with chicken. Plantains rounded things out. You gotta get the ginger juice. A cold has come on and I was moving it out of my system. The ginger juice killed the rest right while I was sitting waiting for our food to be ready. Be warned....it’s the spicy ginger juice not that extra syrupy sweet diabetes-inducing kind. Michael’s ginger juice is a medicinal recipe verses the disease- producing kind so I bought extra. What made the food extra good is that it is obvious that he cooks with lots of love and pride. We will definitely be stopping through here more.

I purchased a large order of Ghana rock cakes for cultural day at my daughter's school. The rock cakes were a big hit! Very tasty. The owner was pleasant and prompt. I Highly recommend Asanka Delight

The guy that owns the restaurant is very kind! But I'm used to eating African food that contains palm oil and this food had no palm oil and he threw a red sweet sauce on top of my spinach that was very sweet and it made my spinach disgusting. If you eat here ask him to put the red sauce on the side. I don't know what part of Africa that comes from but I've never tasted such a sweet disgusting sauce before. I cook African cuisine myself and to me authentic African cuisine contains palm oil.

I was looking for an African Restaurant and stumbled on Asanke Delight and after my first visit; I was amazed at the quality and deliciousness of the food, sold at an affordable price. And I have not been able to stop visiting there for food.
You have the opportunity to see the food being prepared in a neat and clean environment and the owner is very friendly and tries to make his customers relax. The food is really nice and rich. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a good treat and a good run for his or her money. The experience is simply delightsome and impressive.
