We love this place. My husband says the ploughman sandwich is the top 5 best sandwiches ever. The burrito and Indian curry aren't amazing if youre used to eating these at authentic restaurants but overall the food and beer are great. Summer brings lots of fruit flies - company should consider putting elegant cider vinegar/Saran wrap traps by the window sills.

Staff was nice. Establishment was clean and a good atmosphere. Unfortunately my lamb burger was served really cold. When I returned it it came back cold again. The waiter seemed embarrassed. They cooked me a new burger and it was very good. Everyone else's food at the table also was good.

Thought this was an excellent restaurant after reviewing the menu items and atmosphere, physically stopped in and make reservations for a specific table for 4 by the front window, they took my name, phone number and time of reservation. When we arrived to our surprise they had given our table to another party, all the person said to us your sitting here!!!!!REALLY!!! FIRST IMPRESSION...NOT SO GOOD....APOLOGIZED TO OUR FRIENDS...THIS IS NOT OUR TABLE I RESERVED. NICE WAITRESS, FOOD NOT SO GOOD, DEFINETLY WILL NOT BE BACK. WHY TAKE THE TIME TO PHYSICALY GO TO YOUR RESTAURANT AND MAKE SPECIFY TABLE RESERVATIONS..WHEN YOU DON'T COMPLY WE WERE NOT LATE FOR OUR RESERVATION AT 6:30!!!!! needless to say that is poor business practice, I was in the hotel industry for years....first impressions DUE MATTER. RESERVATION: MEANS WHAT TO YOUR RESTAURANT?????? I GUESS NOTHING....JUST WALK IN AND YOU WILL PROBABLY GET THE TABLE YOU PREFER. BAD TABLE MANNERS!!!!!

I really like this restaurant. Food is excellent with good service. I find it difficult to find beer I like. Had some excellent rotational beers but have yet to find a regular beer on the menu I like. I do like a variety of craft beer but the owner seems to have very specific tastes that don't match mine. Most share similar characteristics. Need more variety. Update July 2017. Changed from 4 stars to 5. The selection of beer is now really good. Great place!

Very friendly staff and the atmosphere is lovely and friendly. The beer from the tap is warm though so go for bottled beer. Also keep away from the ribs and the chicken. Both were dry and bland. Tasted like it was reheated and they didnt bother re applying the sauce. Chips were delicious though. A disappointment for the most part.
