Honestly I must say that I love Ashley Furniture like their actual furniture but I dread going to the store because I feel like I'm going to a used car lot. The minute that you walk in the door you are surrounded by a salesperson who normally will follow you around the entire store and tell I've actually had to say I really want to look by myself I will come get you if I need you. Other than that I love the setup of the store and I love the way that they decorate the bedroom groups you could get a lot of ideas and they have some really cool decor you can pretty much get everything you need to furnish your house accept appliances of course and the showroom is large and many times there are sets of furniture in the store that are very unique and cool that you can't get online. For example with my new sectional I just got in the store the color that they had it was kind of a grey blue but it was really cool they didn't have online. Besides feeling like a number when I walk in I still will shop there because of the actual inventory but I definitely don't go for the customer service. If you want like a unique customer service experience you're better to go to one are home owned stores or locally owned I should say like Rockwood Amish Texas furniture or something of that sort there you are given the freedom to browse and look around and enjoy your shopping experience but the furniture is way way more expensive

Excellent experience and great service. Employees in the store were very knowledgeable and helpful. My furniture arrived in a timely manner and in great condition and the delivery people set up the furniture exactly where I wanted it. Would definitely recommend Ashley Furniture in Amarillo.

I have had a total of two experiences with this store and both were horrible. #1: I was shopping for a couch, coffee table, and bedroom set about six or so years ago. This was the first store I visited and I wanted to see what all was available. A salesgirl caught me before the front door had even shut all the way behind me and began the game of 21 questions. I politely told her I just wanted to look around and I would come find her when I was ready. I know how sales jobs work and I wasn't going to give my business to a different employee. However...she didn't back off. This girl followed me around the store for about five minutes asking questions and pointing at stuff she thought I might like. Finally I had enough and made a beeline for the door. I left with a pocket full of tax return money to go somewhere that I wouldn't be hounded to death by the vultures. Needless to say, Bob Mills got my money less than an hour later and I got to take my furniture home with me that day. #2: I tried to warn my wife of my bad experience here in the past, but some people just have to learn the hard way. She bought a $5,000 bedroom set here (that I would not have paid more than $3,000 for) in July. Part of it was delivered on time and the rest was not. It took well over ten phone calls and six or eight visits to the store to get them to deliver the remaining nightstand so that we could get the "free" TV that was included in the offer. We kept getting the runaround from employees in the store. They claimed to be notating our account but when speaking to them the next time they never had a clue about anything. By the time they finally delivered what we paid for it was either November or December. Can't remember for sure which month, but either way that is 100% unacceptable. Not only that, but this bedroom set was put together all wrong. Some of the handles are upside down while others are not and some of the drawers are ridiculously hard to pull out. This was by far the absolute worst way to spend $5,000. I have warned everybody I know to stay away from this place. If you have any sense at all you will stay away too. I'm not afraid to say "I told you so" when you post a crummy review later on down the road.

My husband and I have always had great experiences with Ashley from the sales people to the delivery people. The furniture is also great. We will continue to return to Ashley.

Bought a "leather-like" sofa (can't remember fabric name), big chair, ottoman and recliner. Paid $100+ for "fabric" insurance. 2 years later it's peeling in the worst way. Spend 6 weeks on "warranty request" and finally told THERE IS NO WARRANTY for that "fabric" and too bad. Good news is: wife HATES that place now.
