The food here is good from the hot food bar. Their sandwiches made to order is good as well. They use very high-quality products, which makes the difference. If you into eating healthy the juice bar has wheatgrass and many other fresh juices.

Ashley is a solid grocery store, and convenient to me. Prices seem about average. Decent selection of prepared foods. Smallish selection of produce, but it's good quality. The layout drives me nuts, though. Tight, narrow aisles, odd categorization and overstuffed shelves. I find it really difficult to navigate and hard to find things reliably.

Fresh produce. Great products and all great organic brands I love especially the Buddha Bowl Organic Pop Corn. So delicious. Staff is great as well. Highly recommend.

If you are single or a couple or student this is a good place to shop. Great fruit and vegetables and seafood market and butcher fresh ground meat and high end steaks and chicken. Large prepared food selection and great deli.Right across from South Orange train station so you can get off train from NY and get your dinner already prepared. Also has basics like milk and bread and a bakery. Prepared food Is really good. Right next to a transit hub with NY city commuters condos around it. Also after 7:00 hot food is 1/2 price. Close to Seton Hall University. Train from there to Penn Station 28 minutes direct.

This a wonderful little high end supermarket. Larger than it looks from the outside but not big like a Stop and Shop or Publix. While it's expensive it's also clean, well staffed, filled with organic produce and speciality meats and cheeses, has a butcher, decent seafood section and yummy bakery. The salad bar and hot food bar however, are my favorite! The chicken stew is a-maz-ing. A bowl of that and some garlic bread and ... *sigh*!!! This place is a gem.
