Went here with my grandmother and great-aunts for lunch while they where driving through. It was so good. Great prices (all lunch specials are $12) for delicious food. The bread was soft and delicious served with great garlic olive oil. The salads and soup of the day were just as good with crisp greens, flavorful dressings, and savory substantial soups that didn't fill you up to much before the entrees. We were all very satisfied with our entrees as well. They were big enough but not excessively so. Delicious, delicious food. The staff where just as good as the food. We were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant and we never wanted for anything. It was very clean and easy to find as well and there is lots of convenient parking nearby. I have been telling everyone about this place. I can't wait to go back!

My daughter goes to Seton hall and we were visiting her to go eat dinner. One of her friends recommended Boccone.I just want to say this place is AMAZING !!!! A must try to anyone looking to eat the best Italian food around. Silvio is the best host i have ever seen, made us feel like family! awesome service ! Great atmosphere, Great food. when it was all said and done I felt like I was leaving one of my relatives house. Silvio is the best !!! Thank you Silvio for one of the best meals I had in a long time. See you again soon !!

It looks like I'm not alone with these rave reviews. I googled Good Italian Food in the area. We gave this place a shot Sunday afternoon around 5pm. We were greeted by Silvio. We felt like we had just seen a lost relative! Welcome! Thank you for joining us this evening. We came in as strangers, we left as friends , hugs and all! The food was simply amazing, no matter what was ordered was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Michael was a delight and very attentive to any request. The experience at Boccone South was a memorable one. We can't wait to return and we will recommend this place to everyone. Andy - The Blind Guy

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. From entering the restaurant to dessert time -- the warm welcome and the professional friendly service with that special touch was what made this entire evening a special one. Family friendly - great menu - oh and the desserts!! Our family had the spaghetti with veal meatballs - the monk fish over risotto and the exotic mushroom cream pasta. I am sure everything on their menu is made with special consideration and talent. Unbelievably delicious is the bread pudding a la mode - is superb! The staff was ready and always available and checked on us from to time - we had a lovely time - oh and they sing happy birthday and anniversary too :)

I made a reservation during the week during lunch and it was a very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The food was great with lunch specials starting at $12, which includes a salad. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area again. And the wait staff was so nice.
