If you are seriously considering living here, please reconsider immediately. This complex has the most unprofessional and incompetent staff I've ever had the experience of dealing with. The outer appearance of the complex is breathtaking when you're viewing it through the rose colored glasses. Once you have officially moved in, the professionalism, the grounds of the property, maintenance request, etc will all take a downward spiral. Once this property has you under contract, they are no longer worried about putting on a "good face". The leasing office WILL misplace or misappropriate your lease payments, you will see animal feces everywhere because most tenants don't pick up after their dogs, the craftsmanship inside of the units is shotty, maintenance request will go unanswered, you will be spoken to with sheer rudeness, you will be accused of owing money you don't owe because the leasing office has a high turnover rate and no one keeps good financial documentation of tenant payments and leasing agreements. Oh, and the walls are paper thin!!!!!!!! You will hear every conversation, every step your neighbor's take, etc. It's awful. Save yourself the heartache, and keep looking for a better place to call home. Although I hate the hassle of moving, I won't be renewing my lease another year here.

PROS: Their pet policy is awesome! Good amenities, friendly staff, affordable rent, and pretty close to anything you might need regularly whether that's groceries, the doctor, or a quick bite to eat. CONS: The appliances are SUPER cheap our ice maker has broken and our toilet ran just in the few months we've been here and the dryer always takes 2 runs to dry anything at all. Not completely convinced the maintenance guys really know what they're doing. The sink hose button gets stuck pretty often (I've gotten wet too many times...) The walls are very very thin. You can hear everything outside, above you and next to you. Good for low budget needs or a temp place to live, but I would suggest looking for something else if you can.

These apartments are top notch. My lease is up to expire in August and if I weren't moving out of town, I would stay. The new management is excellent and maintenance is always friendly and fast. The apartments themselves are gorgeous and come with a washer and dryer. People aren't great about picking up after their pets, and a lot of people park in the handicap spots which is really rude, but that's really out of management's control. The work out room is a little small and has only free weights and cardio machines, so if you're a pretty intense fitness guru it won't be up to your standards. The floors are laminate, which is nice, but it also can cause some noise for tenants below. I had this issue with m neighbors who were NOT pleasant about it. This place has trash valet which means people come around 5 days a week to take your trash for you. Super awesome service! Totally worth the extra $10 a month. These are super nice. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC REVIEW. I relocated to Smyrna after living in Saint Louis for about 5 years. I was initially excited about living at Ashton Creek Farms. About 6 months or so after I moved in, there's been one issue after another. Property management has changed a few times (not uncommon), and as a result, communication and service has been extremely inconsistent. Here are a few examples of some of the issues I've found egregious: the leasing office isn't always open with someone ready to provide service during actual hours of operation (posted online and outside of the door), there's no drop box for rent, it's a gated community, and for months the gate never closed and no notification was given to residents explaining why (any and everyone could drive right through), the interior of the apartments appear nice if you aren't checking the details (there's cracking in the crown molding, base boards, paint job all look like the contractors rushed to get the job completed), the front office staff aren't very helpful or nice (poor customer service), packages are delivered to the front office, and they never notify you that your package has arrived for you to pick up (all shipped items don't always have a tracking number), never any resident appreciation acknowledgements or gatherings (for example some places will occasionally have punch and cookies for residents to show appreciation), they don't respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, they don't do pest control, maintenance doesn't always respond in a timely manner, and when they do, they don't always fix the problem you called about (I've had maintenance come to my apartment to fix something minor, tell me he needs to get a tool and he'll be right back, and he never showed back up), I had an overflowing toilet once, called maintenance, only to have him tell me to close the top, put some towels down, and just use my other bathroom......he never said when or if he was going to come to resolve the issue. The leasing office didn't reconcile my rent payments correctly (due to the constant change of property management), and kept sending me notices that I owed money I didn't owe. I had to prove (I'm thankful I keep my money order receipts from every payment) that I have always paid in full and on time. It was a hassle. They don't even offer you a receipt of your payment when you drop off the rent which is why I started paying with money orders. The trash service we have to pay for doesn't always come and pick up trash in accordance to the agreement, they find some trivial reasons to enter into the apartments, but never come for legitimate things like pest control or maintenance orders, etc. I could go on and on about my experiences with this apartment complex. I'm currently in my apartment without running water. The water in my building was shut off and has been since 5am. It's currently 11:30. The office didn't notify the tenants of this building collectively or individually informing us of what's going on or even to offer up an apology for the inconvenience. We had to call the water company who told us to contact our leasing office to get information. The communication is so poor, and so is the professionalism and integrity of the staff. I would highly recommend living any place else but here.
