Sesame seed chicken and lo mein were delicious. Chicken fried rice was a bit flavorless. Service was graceful and perfect. They brought the food fast, it was delicious and hot. They were attentive with refilling our waters and checking on us. The atmosphere was open and bright. Prices seemed a bit high but loved this spot and would recommend!!
Food was fine but nothing special. The sesame chicken did not taste like sesame and instead tasted like orange chicken. It was also not very crispy. The tofu in the broccoli stir-fry was very soft, I would have preferred a more fried tofu. Parking is very limited and the location is short-staffed right now.
A great location for Asian cuisine. It tends to be busy Friday night, so arrive promptly. I highly recommend the dumplings, and walnut shrimp. Most of the dishes are very yummy, alongside free serving of white rice. This is a go to place for family, and recommend to anyone!
We had fish with black bean sauce and it was very good. We also ordered the lettuce wraps. My wife ordered spicy beef and it was very tender. The place was very nice and prices are about 20 per plate which is very reasonable.
We had a great dinner! I ordered the General Tso’s which was delicious. They have a large variety of gluten free options! My sister ordered the GF Walnut Shrimp and she loved it. The atmosphere and service were lovely.
A well maintained and inviting place for a wide variety of asian food. They do not serve pho and sushi anymore but the menu is still deep enough. Per person serving is good enough size and they don’t mind you sharing in a group ordering a la carte. Parking is a bit tight around the building but you do have an overflow parking at the church next door. There is no valet parking. The fact that you often might find yourself parking in the overflow lot shows how busy the place is. They do take reservations so helps to plan ahead.
It’s called Asian Star for a reason. To start, the service was poor. We were never checked on during our dinner. If we had, we would’ve said that we were disappointed with the dish. We got the Sizzling Seafood Delight. It was incredibly bland. It was sitting in a sauce that needed more of a salty or savory element, something to add more depth. I love seafood, but it was some of the worst I’ve had. The scallop in particular lacked flavor for such a delicacy. It tasted watery. You would think with an expensive seafood dish such as this, it would be delicious.
The food was delicious, many gluten free options, and great service. This is a little more expensive... 6 bucks for literally a "cup" of egg drop soup, if the owner reads this... give us large soup portion!, because the food portion were great, otherwise great place overallFood: 5/5
The most luxury chinese restaurant I have been here! I loved this place, the views were nice, the food, and the presentation was all wonderful. Got General Tsos and Walnut Shrimp
Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is so lovely and feels very upscale. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, I have enjoyed interacting with all of the employees when I've been there. And then the food - absolutely, ridiculously delicious!! They have a fantastic selection of gluten free dishes and they were so decadent that you would not know they were gluten free. The staff could answer questions about making dishes gluten free. Loved every bite and the portions were fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants in the valley, will absolutely come back often.
