So frustrating to live here. I love my apartment and the location of it. Close to the trash so we never have to walk far with that, we are on the first floor and we have a carport which is awesome in rain and snow with 2 young children. My huge issue is one of my neighbors smokes cigarettes and we can smell it clear as day in our apartment. Our master bathroom constantly smells like someone is standing in my shower smoking.  The smell is coming though the wall somehow and it's so terrible. If i leave the bathroom door open then my entire master bedroom smells like cigarettes. We have been here for 6 months so far and it is increasingly getting worse and worse. Now sometimes in the kitchen when we're near the microwave we can smell it as well so I'm assuming it's coming through vents somehow. My husband nor I smoke so the smell to us is very strong and very disgusting. Definitely don't want my kids around it and I don't enjoy dealing with second hand smoke in my bathroom. I'd actually love to re-lease and when we moved here initially I planned on staying here for 2 years but considering supposedly  nothing can be done about this I don't know if I would re-lease. We have spoke to the office about it and from what we've been told basically there's nothing they can do about it.

Since my husband is in the military we move a lot so our stay here wasn't long, but it was an amazing experience and we will miss living there. The apartments are very clean, updated, and cozy. I feel very safe there and management couldn't be nicer or more accommodating.

update 12/19 - WATCH OUT property manager continuously harrasses residents. I  was approved to move to a new apartment in the building and i had to shift the date by 3-4days. the property Manager changed the agreed upon move plan and went around telling staff members that i had Bad Credit.... The Property Manager is Notorious for being in-ept in keeping up with promises . the property does not follow fair housing!

Update - bugs &trash  continue to exist in apartment. The property management has not taken any steps to moveme out of the worst apartment even after confirmed approvals to move. Made 3 visits and in each  visit, apartment i showed interest in were rented out. 

Update 10/23 : Right after i posted this review about Weavil infestation that is not being looked into by the apartment complex, i was sent a letter by a lawyer from the property manager who made up a story about me wanting money.. When i all i asked her to do was to transfer me to an apartment that has pest control, clean carpet and cleaned 

Update: it has been  2 months and in my first month here i found a bug infestation that has not been  fixed!!! Yes 2 months. 

Its ridiculous 

It is very hard to review a place where the view  from Monday  to  Thursday is that of overflowing Trash, Rats and vibritating apartment living rooms. Do i want to live here... No! Do i have to live here... yes!

2 stars are for the property because i do like my apartment and the residents.... but i cannot get past the trash, vibrating living room, the bugs breeding Trash Area. POint is... i don't have a choice.... you do :)

This is the THIRD TIME my CAR HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO. We live about 30 minutes away but we visit our family there quite often. It's a shame how expensive it is to live there and the security of the place is very low. You guys have a security guard that drives around but doesn't do anything to make residents or guest feel safe. They sure can report a car not parked in the correct spot and get it towed but you can't secure the place and make sure cars are not getting broken into. I am not the only one. There are a TON of neighbors that tell me to be careful because it's not safe and there are A LOT of break ins.

I must admit I don't technically live here, but I frequent the location as my boyfriend lives here. That being said, the location/view from these apartments are pretty great, and much nicer than anything else I’ve seen in the area. The apartments themselves are very spacious and well-kept. 

All interactions I’ve had with the apartment management has been pleasant, and they are always very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Aspens at Belvedere without hesitation to anyone looking in the area.
