ASU parking and transit services is hands down the most cruel organization at Arizona State University. They will do whatever they can to screw over the students in anyway they can, and to make money off of literally poor students. Parking at the Tempe campus is to say the least, a nightmare. The amount of students is very high and parking is very expensive. Like, expect to pay 200 to 1000 dollars per year for sure. Lot 59 is the budget lot, at only about 250 a year. And wow does it suck for that price. All sports season your car will be towed and moved to God knows where, and you have to call or pray for an email to find it. During the day, parking is nearly full, so expect to walk from Rio Salado to campus on the daily, or take the flash bus. If you get sick of walking a mile each direction to go to class and want to get a parking permit for a closer lot, good luck. They won't sell it to you. They claim these lots are full, even though I parked at said "full" lots all semester once and never struggled to find parking. I don't know why they need to lie about this, but they do. Parking at ASU, you will eventually get a ticket, regardless if you follow the rules or not. They ticket for everything and anything, since they are so greedy. To appeal your unjust ticket, just go online and try. While they process it, you can rack up late fees until they inevitably deny your appeal. Don't feel like going online to appeal? Calling them will do you no good, since calling ASU in general isn't very helpful. They always send you online. The phone attendants are very nice, but never resolve your issue. And the icing on the cake is after every interaction with ASU parking services, whether good or bad, they have the audacity to send you a feedback survey to help improve and better solve your issue. You can complain all you want, leave threats, a number to call you, email, fax, mailing address, anything for them to contact you. They won't. They don't have the courage to actually help the students, only to screw them. Overall, these guys are the devil (no pun intended). The regular staff is nice, but it's the administration that makes these decisions that hurt the student body. If you can, take public transportation or bike/wall to get to campus, to avoid any interaction with these people.

Super friendly and helpful staff! The poor reviews are just about the steep prices for parking (which these employees do not decide on, ASU does as an institution). Hours are from 7:30am-4:30pm. I had no issues going midday, there was a small line and I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Removed my bike along with the bike racks (sounds funny) without giving any notice. Luckily got it back after two days with bent rear wheel rim and worn off grips. Even after using it for a year it was in good condition, but just in two days, it bore the brunt of carelessness. The staffs are nice, but the management is not good.

Easily the worst organization at ASU. Mostly exists to leech off students, faculty and staff who do actual work. Seems like all they do is constantly raise parking fees and hand out as many citations as possible. In fact, they even go after cop cars. I've spoken to campus police who told me that ASU parking services ticketed their cars while they were out on call. In short, don't let your meter run over, even for five minutes.

Terrible. Look to hand out citations for everything and fail to resolve or understand any issues.
