Chamblee's only independent, neighborhood bookstore featuring rare, collectible, new and used books. We also host book signings, art displays, book groups and storytelling events. Grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, and read a good book in a warm and friendly environment. Right down the road from Buckhead, Brookhaven, Dunwoody and Decatur.

I love this bookstore! Their selection is large and the cats add a lot of character and charm. And there are always really good finds if you take the time to look. They have a great radical section downstairs and their philosophy books include absolute gems. Combined with the friendliness of the staff and the excellent hours, this is my go-to bookstore. Sometimes I just go here to read, as they create a nice relaxing atmosphere, and the chairs are very comfy. No bookstore in the Atlanta area can hold a candle to this one when it comes to selection and friendliness. I'm glad the spirit of the local, independent bookstore lives a little longer in this corner of Atlanta.

Fun place to visit and browse and buy. The numerous cats and staff are comfortable to be around.  Don't be surprised to be escorted by either throughout the many rooms and sections of the stacks. You can find most anything on any topic, and the selections are constantly being refreshed.  Prices are marked on the first page of the book and seem appropriate.

This book store is great. It has a really wide variety of books that are available here. The staff are very friendly and willing to help you out with any kind of questions that you may have. There’s also a downstairs area here too that has even more books in it. If anything, it’s a cool historical place to come and visit.

If you are looking for a great old fashioned second hand bookstore you have to check this place out.  Extensive collection, which is quite well organized.  Even has the obligatory   old-bookstore resident cat(s).

I wanted to give this store a try, since I love to find vintage books or classics. To start it's a large establishment so plenty to browse. I liked that they have many cats roaming around and enjoyed petting or playing with them. The only thing that put me off was the smell of cat urine in random rooms. I love that the owners are adopting or caring for homeless cats but please still be more hygienic, especially with rare books around.
