Where to begin?  It is a waiting room for junkies.  Hand-to-hand transactions are commonplace.  The hard-working security guard will be breaking up one fight while another erupts on the other side.  Millions of taxpayer dollars have gone into building this place.  When the junkies got to be too much, they resolved the problem by eliminating the seating.  So a decent person cannot even take a book, sit down and read it.  And it is geared for only certain segments of society.  Example:  There is ONE biography of Thomas Jefferson, but there are  SEVEN biographies of Michael Jackson.   And absolutely nothing by Peter Drucker, Delmore Schwartz, or many other important writers. but plenty of Steve Harvey's latest claptrap.   One star rating seems to be appropriate for this cesspool.  It would better serve the public if it just shut its doors and let the junkies wait in the cold.

Update:  The people next to me are five people crowded onto a single terminal.  Their kids are acting like the wild animals that they are.  This is not a place where any serious person can sit down at a computer terminal and get any work done, it is a shame that the library staff accepts this kind of behavior.

The library from hell.  As libraries reflect their community, sad to say that this does the same.  Do not bring children here.  Smelly disgusting druggies have overrun the place.  Can't say enough about what a waste of taxpayer dollars this place is.  Impossible to get any work done.  A library in prison would better serve people.   And why is everything geared to celebrating the black community?  Do no Italians, Chinese, etc., other ethnic groups deserve equal respect?   Oops, I've said too much.  I must be one of those heterosexual white supremacists.  Or Chinese.

Impossible to get any work done in this hellhole of an excuse of a library.  One set of yapping morons on one side of me, another set of trash on the other.  Stereo idiocy, loud enough to wake the dead.  Kids running around uncontrolled, this is more a day-care center for anchor babies than a library.  A waste of taxpayer dollars, catering to the lowest of the low.  Library staff refuses to tell people to shut the f**k up.  Either get off the phone, keep an eye on your monster kids, or get back out on the street.
