This zoo was pretty good, though we went on a 38C day. Most of the animals were pretty sleepy and trying to stay cool. There are a number of buildings you can duck into to cool off. The aviary was neat, as you're walking into the bird cage and they're all living together in there. It was like I Spy. The ancient oak park with its historical fountain was breathtaking. Makes the Edmonton Zoo look like a 1 star, but the Berlin Zoo is still the best in my mind.

This is one of the best zoos in the country that I have seen. They have a great variety and many different sections of animals. We went there in the winter time and most of the exhibits were still open. We saw some animals there that we have not seen it any other zoos. Great place to go

This zoo is so much fun to visit! I've been dozens of times and it never gets old, great exhibits and it's not overwhelmingly huge so you can actually see everything in a reasonable amount of time. I love when they have the animals out and you can pet them! Especially the elephant!

Bigger than you think from the outside, more intricate than you imagine on the inside... and filled with well-kept animals that inspire curiosity in little and big viewers. We have a membership and frequent this park all the time. Busiest days are Saturday and Sunday, and if you don't like crowds, meaning, if you REALLY don't like crowds, come here on an afternoon when the Saints are playing. It's virtually empty!

Drove from Panama City to visit family in New Orleans. Stopped by the zoo and we loved it, the exhibits were kind of small for the animals but they always had proper food and water so it wasn't that bad. It was was 23 per person but I think it was worth it, roman candy was available and all of the sections were good, the animals were great and the whole place was clean and well kept, would definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area or just looking for something to do.
