We loved this zoo! We brought a five and two year old and spent close to four hours here (we might have stayed longer but it was closing time). The price seemed reasonable compared to other zoos and aquariums we have been to in the area. It is extra to do any of the extras (train ride, sky lift, feed the giraffes), but they are definitely with it. The sky lift was our favorite part. It takes about f 10 minutes and I was able to sit with both kids. You get to see zebras, elephants, giraffes, Lions, etc. while riding. There were a lot of animals without being super spread out which was perfect for young kids. There were also things like the rides and playground that let you take a break from walking. We didn't eat at the Overlook Cafe, but it seemed like a great place to have lunch. I think if you eat and do all the activities you could spend an entire day in the zoo. We had a great time and plan on going back!

It was really nice but why I gave it a 3 . It's $15 to get in plus when you get in Train ride is extra 😬$3 each person. To pet the giraffe and feed it $3 each person. The chair lift wasn't working. I don't know how much that was. So if you have a big family like me we couldn't do everything. Which is not good when you have children that wants to go. Very disappointing on that part. To make this zoo better and more people be attracted to it. FIRST - zoo tickets $8 covers everything 😍 SECOND - have food courts in different areas nothing to fancy but cheap😍 Third - have someone selling balloons on a stick so they want fly away 😍 Forth - Have someone make animals out of balloons😍 FIFTH - have a photo both like the movies SIXTH - have a charge to take a picture with an animal Get creative about the zoo but don't over charge people to get in or to ride or pet the things inside

Very nice zoo. It's not as big as others...we loved the parakeet cage as well as feeding the giraffes....a bit pricey however I feel like it goes to caring for the animals...with that I can't complain. The food has very much to be desired. Not so good at all...

This is an awesome zoo! All of the staff is friendly and the facilities are very well kept. If you go soon there are 4 baby Jaguars in the exhibit. There is also a exibit winner you can feed parakeets. They will come and sit on your feeding stick. Defiantly worth a visit if you are in the area and even if you aren't.

This zoo is so awesome! You wouldn't think a zoo in Montgomery, AL would necessarily be really good, but this was is super cool. They have these sky lift things that carry you over the top of the whole zoo and you can see all of the open exhibits from above - it's very cool. There are many types of animals, and often they are very active. Plus, the concessions here are actually pretty good.
