Small and quaint. Clean. Friendly agents at check-in. No TSA precheck. Nicer than most small town airports.

I have been flying over fifty years in small and large airports and know a little about service and a lot about ambiance. Measure other airports against this one! They have a military lounge.

I fly out of this airport every other week and week it is obvious that the management of this airport continues to deteriorate. The TSA lines are probably the slowest in the nation. The TSA agents have no regard for passengers and function at a ridiculously slow pace. One time they had the same person who was running the conveyor belt also inspecting bags. Today 20 of us missed our flight due to the painfully slow process. It is increasingly more and more difficult to support this airport.

Steer clear of Augusta airport! TSA is always understaffed which will result in you missing your flights. On this day, TSS did not offer pre-check. There is also no cooperation between TSA and the Airlines, despite all working in the same airport. Your time is better utilized by driving to Atlanta or Charlotte and departing from there.

This is by far the most unreliable airport I've ever flown through in my entire life. I've never had a flight leave on time, almost always experience a lengthy delay, and tonight, even had to re-book a flight for the following day. It is safe to say I will never fly out of Augusta again.
