I was introduced to Austin Avenue by a friend who highly praised the place. Friendly referrals sometimes can be enticing so thought I give it a chance. Unfortunately, the waitress completely forgot about me and my party after delivering us our drinks. We patiently waited for a while and finally decided to walk to the bar where there were a few bartenders who refused to notice my presence. After a few minutes, finally someone was kind enough to ask how I could be helped. The original waitress suddenly appeared and had nothing to say. I only was able to order a single drink which is what I paid for. To my surprise, I was charged for two other tabs along with my own. In fine print, my receipt confirms that I ordered and paid for one drink. I refuse to ever visit this establishment again.

Very homely crowd (in the front at least), looked like we were the only outsiders. In the back there are lots of gaming options. Pool, video games etc. And a much diverse group. Their 2nd hottest wings barely qualified as spicy on my Indian scale, close to Spicy Garlic in Buffalo wild wings menu. Friendly hostess, standard bar menu of wings, fries and nachos. Very tough to mess up any of those as long as they're served hot. Would definitely go again with bigger crowd.

Probably the best sports bar in Plano. Food is better than most, with a lively atmosphere. Multiple rooms, some quieter and more family-oriented than others. Pinball machines and games, darts and pool. Also a very nice covered outside area with a huge TV. Only caveat is, they often seem very understaffed, with no clear sections and you can sometimes wait 10 minutes or more before someone comes to take your drink order. Wait times have been a bit better lately, perhaps they're working on it. Otherwise, it's a 5-star sports bar!

Been looking forward to going back here after the original location burned down. New building is great. Lots of high quality TVs to watch whatever sports you can think of. There's a really huge HDTV on the patio that's super crystal clear and makes it feel like you're at a game. Food is good, lots of beers too choose from.

This place is the perfect Sports Bar....except for the food. They really need to up the game in this area. The pool tables are nice. The Dart Boards and league are fantastic. They have "poker nights". They have great drinks. The service is fantastic! Still the food is not up to par. The Spinach Artichoke Dip is runny......frozen spinach? not drained....my guess...I don't know for sure...but sub par. The Onion Soup....tastes like it came from a package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix. Your best bet...if you decide to eat here...may be the Potato Skins....they were good. My wife and I loved the place...but the food sucks. Hopefully the owners / manager can get a handle on that and it will be a Great Sports Bar.
