Austin Dental Associates has been providing gentle dental care for all ages to the Maplewood, MN area for over 28 years. Our doctor provides excellent patient care. Most insurances are accepted and we are located right across from St. John's Hospital.

Dr. Austin is nice, and his hygienist, Nicole, is probably the most wonderful person I've met. She's witty, sweet, funny, efficient, kind, and is always happy to see me. They have both been patient and non-judgemental with my difficult mouth.

They used to be great, I had been a patient there for almost 10 years but now I get a hygienist who wants to pick fights with patients and a dentist who belittles the patient for expecting that the hygienists actually know what they're talking about. I will never go back there again!

The staff is very rude. In particular a woman named Mary; they incorrectly charged me, were very defensive and offensive about it, and then hung up on me. I used to go to this place as a kid but they have lost my business forever. There are other locations much better in the area

Clean professional environment! Dr. Brad is efficient and friendly. Their kind staff helps you feel at ease, and I highly recommend Austin Dental.

Went to this office the week of 2/16/09. Was told over the phone that they took my type of insurance. Once I got there, they were very confused and grossly unininformed about how my insurance (UMR) worked, or what Dentemax, the network that THEY participated in even was. I was confronted in a negative and adversarial way by a very unprofessional and nasty woman named "Sharon S." the office administrator while I was seated in the Dental Chair getting services. She demanded I pay upfront for any and all services, as my insurance was only good through the end of the month, unless I were to extend it on Cobra. Since this made no sense, and was obviously discriminatory to someone who actually did have valid insurance, I refused to pay upfront, out of principle, not out of the fact that I didn't have the few hundred dollars, because I did have the money. (I also later confirmed with my insurance company that they DID NOT need any "pre-authoriation" for any of the services I was going to have done, and as such, was out of line by the clininc to require that) Later I was screamed at very inappropriately by Sharon S. before leaving. I won't be back and I do not recommend this outfit to anyone. How horribly rude and how disgusting and small of "Sharon S' (she won't give her full last name even) to confront me - - especially tacky when I was in the actual Dental Chair being serviced by a hygeniest. Very unorthodx and highly sloppy for her to act like that.Needless to say, I have fired this Dental Clinic and DO NOT recommend it!
