Story

Please feel free to like and share my page with your friends and family. I would love to see fresh faces come to my school to get haircuts, and soon other treatments, such as color, facials, waxing and nails. I will still be offering some free services as a continue my education so stay tuned

So far Aveda has been amazing. Everyone wants to make sure you succeed here. If you are wanting to be a stylist, I highly recommend it here. It will be tough, but it is worth the hard work. The instructors are always available to help. I have to make a shout out for Jeremiah. He is probably my favorite instructor. He makes sure we understand what is going on. He is always showing us new techniques and great at coaching us.

I have been a student at the Aveda Institute for about a month and a half now and I am overall impressed with the atmosphere and teaching style here. My first impression of the environment is that the large windows and good music creates a great vibe not only for the students but also the guests. Their spa like, environmentally conscious atmosphere really focuses on a holistic curriculum. I really enjoy the focus on gentle learning and “wellnesses “ in order to always check in with how the students are feeling. That being said the curriculum can be rather slow at times for people who enjoy learning at a quicker pace but if you show up to class there is no way you could fall behind. My instructor Jeremiah really helps each student feel like they are in good hands and genuinely wants to make sure each student succeeds. Overall it’s a great school with a supportive atmosphere and really helps you feel confident interacting with clients in a professional way. I will say that your kits are not as high quality you end up buying your own items.

Both my husband and I went for haircuts and colors. I had Stephanie as my stylist. She was great! She consulted with me about my hair, my hair color desires, and even gave me great tips on styling my curly mane. She answered all of my questions and didn't laugh when I kept asking for "The Lazy Woman's Guide to Great Curly Hair." (I like to sleep in, OKAY?) I'd definitely go back.

Had Kat cut my hair. It was perfect. Seriously, so happy. No time in cutting. Listened to my wants . I love Aveda. Best deal anywhere. I was thrilled to find them. I can't imagine any student NOT going here. So cool. Big fan.

Love how warm and welcome when I started here. The staff and fellow students are so helpful. I appreciate the passion for natural products to benefit our world. Jeremiah West is definitely one of the best teachers I’ve had, including all other instructors and staff here, they have truly made my time here a great one.
