We have been to a few kid's haircut places in Portland and Vancouver and we have had our best experiences here. The staff is extremely capable at both working with the kids while cutting hair as well as providing them with very good haircuts. I have found that you usually get one or the other at these places. We have been here several times and I will continue to take my kids here. They like getting their hair cut. It is fun. Oh, and call ahead and make an appointment. I don't recommend doing a walk-in. They do have a great waiting area with some toys and a play house. I wouldn't count on it for more than 10-15 minutes for most kiddos. It is great for younger siblings waiting for an older sibling haircut, though.

They were all amazing! Trying to cut a 3 year old hair is not an easy task but they managed to do an amazing job and she was very fast about it to. We will definitely be coming back for all his hair cuts! Well worth the $18 spent

My baby doesn't look like a baby after having his first haircut here today! He looks like a little boy! We knew he would look different afterwords but we didn't expect it to be as drastic a change...but we absolutely love it! The certificate with a lock of his very first snip of hair is great and something we will put in his baby book. Thank you for your patience, Lil' Snippers! And for helping our little guy look great with his new haircut!

I gave 2 stars because I had both my kids hair cut here at the same time and they were opposite experiences. The person who cut my daughters hair was very friendly and listened to what I said. She trimmed her hair and gave her a few long layers so her natural curl would come out more. She got glitter and they even made her a special certificate with a clipping of hair for her 1st hair cut, even trot wasn’t her first, only her first time in a salon. She is 4. I loved her hair and that experience was great. For my son I showed them a picture of what I wanted, said I wanted the long shaggy look, just cleaned up a bit so it wouldn’t look like a mullet anymore. She started cutting and a little way into the cut I started feeling uneasy like she wasn’t doing what I asked for, so I asked if she wanted to see the picture again. She replied no and kept cutting. My son is only 21 months old and this was basically his first hair cut besides a little trim in the back. His hair was very long, front was below his eyes and the back was starting to look like a mullet. She ended up cutting about 3 inches off his hair when I asked for a trim! Three inches off on a toddler boys hair is not a trim! His bangs were cut all the way up to the crown of his head and straight across, it looks like Jim Carey’s hair on dumb and summer. It’s not a shag at all! It’s so short and so choppy that there is nothing you can do to fix it except give him a buzz, which I’m not doing since I wanted a shag! The worst part is we have our Christmas card pictures 2 days later and I said it several times. The pictures that I spent $200 on and booked months in advance are now going to be ruined since my son doesn’t even look like himself! I am so upset I’m up typing this review at 2am because I can’t sleep from thinking about it. On top of the horrible hair cut he DIDN’T get a first hair cut certificate or a snipping from his hair. And she nicked his ear with the clippers. I would attach a picture if I could do you could see the drastic difference.

Worth every penny! We’ve gone here since my sons first haircut. They are patient and kind and always listens to how you want your child’s hair. Make an appointment, it helps get you in and out faster.
