These folks are the best! Our train was delayed past the time Avis was open. Called ahead and they delivered the car to the train station so it was waiting for us when we finally arrived. Great customer service!!!

It would he nice if they ever answered their phone , so they could tell you they never have cars available, before you get there.

We booked our vehicle two months in advance, and paid the full bill using my debit card. At time of pickup, after waiting ten minutes for what sounded like a supervisor to finish discussing her health drink pyramid scheme with the front desk person, I was told they would not release the vehicle to me without a CREDIT card, and not a DEBIT card. I do not have a credit card; the debit card in question was used to rent from the same office a year ago, but apparently it's a "new rule." I asked what my options were, as we had already made reservations and plans elsewhere for the week, and was told the only thing I could do was to call customer service and have them refund my bill, which I did. The customer service representative did not escalate the call when I requested them to, arguing that "it's the policy all the way up." Overall this has been one of the worst experiences with a company I've ever had, and our plans for the week that we have been looking forward to for months are completely ruined.
