OVERCHARGED.....the girl who was supposed to braid my hair didn't show up so another person stepped in and did a press and curl and color.  I asked her for an up do but she could only do a braid bun.  She charged my mother 52.75 for the same thing she charged me 90 dollars for.  Although I had an agreed upon price of 55 dollars  the price changed 40 dollars because of color.  It's a very nice establishment but get a price before they start... I felt robbed without a gun...... never again!!!

I have been on the lookout for a african american owned salon in the area for months! I decided to get my hair done professionally done for the first time in 2 years. I just got my hair done at this salon a few hours ago. When I walked in, the place was fairly clean and had a calm atmosphere to it. I felt really relaxed while I was here, the stylist who was working on my hair was very accommodating to whatever I needed. Really appreciated. I stayed there for around 41/2- 5ish hours while she did my hair. My only complaints were that the braids were a little too tight, which I should of mentioned but I was really too focused on my head hurting  haha. Also when she was combing my hair, she was pulling on it which caused my scalp to hurt more.  Other than that,  I had a good first experience here.
