Awlwood Concepts did an excellent job restoring the porch on our Victorian home.  It was a huge rebuild and my husband and I were extremely pleased with the results.  We would highly recommend using this company!

I am glad that I took a look at Bill Erpel's site and have a chance to review the project that he did for us ... so let me tell my story, add my comments. 

We built a pretty expensive sunroom back in 2001 (not by Bill). For the next several years we had some leaks and got the builder to come back and "fix" them. However, with years of drought back then, the problem was not too bad. When the drought was over, our issues began to become more serious. Our builder had gone out of business so I looked all over for someone who understood how these glass roof sunrooms were constructed. Finally, I came across the original builder (I believe this was now around 2012 but would need to check my records to be sure). In any event, he came out and did his repairs - again. And again the following year, the same. And the following year. By this time I was pretty fed up. The builder kind of disappeared this last time around (until he came back awhile later, looking for more money ... we are talking 000's each year!).

However, on this last effort, the builder brought in Bill Erpel to work on my problems. Thank God!! (About the only good thing the original builder did.) Bill found that the sunroom roof design had some basic flaws in its design. He pulled out the wood around the bottom of the glass and it was full of dry rot because rain water would enter off the roof and the wood just sat in it! He re-designed the problem areas, including the gutters and fixed a couple other problems we were having - including a difficult roof area where it joined the original house construction. Despite heavy rains we have seen for the last several years, we do not have water entering our sunroom like we used to have. It was like a miracle that our paths crossed and Bill solved our problems. 

Bill was thorough and meticulous in his work. He very well understands the building process and design. I whole-heartedly recommend him and his company.  If he had not come along, I was seriously considering taking down the whole room - before it fell in! He literally saved us from disaster and we are very, very grateful.

Awlwood Concepts, Inc has provided us superb craftsmanship to our home renovations. I am exceptionally pleased with our kitchen remodel and our garage addition.
I am now looking forward to our next project with Bill Erpel's team which is our Four Season Sun-room addition. Awlwood Concepts is reliable and honest with every detail of our home renovations. I highly recommend Bill Erpel @ Awlwood Concepts, Inc you won't be disappointed.

For home remodeling in Loganville Georgia, you can't beat Bill Erpel at Awlwood Concepts. First he remodeled our bathroom. We were so happy with the results, we hired him to remodel the kitchen. Again, terrific results. Now, we're remodeling other parts of our home and are planning a sunroom.
