I have only ever been here on Tuesday nights during trivia. If you do not like a packed crowd in a lot of noise, I would not go there on Tuesdays. The atmosphere is okay, the decor is okay, the drinks are okay, but the food is absolutely phenomenal. The food is great, the ingredients taste very fresh, and if you want to get the specials, you should order them early. My favorite meal there was a prime rib sandwich, which was served with zucchini and squash. When I tried to order a second meal to go, unfortunately they were sold out.
Don't worry about street parking, there is quite a large parking lot behind the cafe, and there is a walk through between buildings right there, so you don't have to walk far after you park.  You should definitely give this place a try.

Was really busy tonight.  Got the cheese and pretzels starter.  It was good, but cheese was very runny.  I got the black and blue burger which was delicious.  The wait was a little long but that was understandable since they were busy.

The food was good, especially the Wisconsin Cheddar soup. Our server was attentive, and the food was delivered to our table very quickly! Great lunch experience!

Good home town type bar. Surprisingly good beer selection usually and food is solid. Pretty friendly staff.

There's a parking lot but you have to go past the restaurant and turn onto Winton Road to get to it. It's behind college hill coffee company

Bacalls has a great atmosphere of the art deco period and that of a neighborhood bar & restaurant.  The service is hoped and the food is what you want to find in a good restaurant.
