Love love love this place! It is the quintessential little gem of a vintage mom & pop bakery. Cheryl, Griffith, and crew fill the pastry cases with baked goods that are as beautiful as they are delicious...rustic breads, crumbly pie bars, flaky biscuits. If you’re looking for something savory, their sandwich selection will not disappoint. Back in the Day cookbooks and other merchandise are available for purchase.

The workers are always nice. Get there early if you want the good stuff. The sticky buns are my favorite. I went there for 3 weeks trying to get them. They sale out very quickly. The apple crisp muffin is really good also.

You have to visit the bakery and taste, for yourself! If you're in Savannah for the weekend, make sure to stop by on a Saturday because they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Owners were nominated by James Beard as Outstanding Bakers and are New York Time Best Selling Cookbook Authors. Delicious hot chocolate!

I stop here every time I'm in this part of time and sometimes make sure my route takes me in the vicinity of this bakery. Their baked goods are scrumptious and they offer hot selections ad well. It's a favorite spot of local neighborhood folk and SCAD students.

I can't say enough about this place. You may find a couple items pricey but after you've tasted them you'll want to find a better-paying job! The food's as great as the owners and vice versa.
