I am floored at the disrespect and unprofessionalism that was displayed by this company. My husband and I both work and need a place to live, and I receive a call an hour before informing me of the open house. I tried touching base upon this information all week and I currently work giving me no time to ask off. Santa Cruz is difficult enough to find a living situation and these people do not help what so ever.  I recommend somewhere else.

I've been renting a wonderful place from Bailey for 3 years. Their service is excellent. also the staff are very nice.

Rented a house through Baily Property Management on the VRBO website.   (23311 East Cliffe, Santa Cruz). We were given an incorrect address to the property and arrived on a Sunday when they were closed, so we could not find our rental house for over 2 hours.   There was a hot tub advertised, yet when we arrived the hot tub was broken so we never got to use it.  They did give us a $70 refund for 4 days, but still "not cool".  The house was dirty when we arrived.  No towels.  No garbage bags.  No bed sheets.  No ice.  Just a really crappy set up and was not inviting for guests.   I rent houses every time I vacation, and this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had.  It just felt really un-inviting and like we were getting ripped off.   Bailey requested our deposit three months in advance, then are taking 3 weeks to return the funds despite no damage.   I will never do any type of business with Bailey Property Management again.

WARNING

Property management is happy to take your reservation, take your money but then service if you have problems is non existent.

Beware, find another company or deal directly with the owner.

Bad service, bad attitude makes your stay a let down.

Very professional and great people.  Lynette was fun to work with and very candid with me about a house that I rented right on the Boardwalk about the activity around and the noise but the property is great.  It is very clean and cared for well.  It turned out great.  She under-promised and over-delivered.  I will rent from them again.
