I've been a CPA in the real estate industry for 30+ yrs. This company  has managed property for me for 5 yrs. They are professional, honest and fair. Highly recommended.

Trying to find a decent rental in Santa Cruz is stressful enough, add Wilder Associates and you are sure to be doomed. Let me bullet point the terrible service this company is guilty of dishing out to eager, well-qualified renters:

-Difficult to schedule a showing, had to drive-by the property per request of the relator then call and email several times to have showing
-At the showing, another couple shows up minutes after we arrive. The relator deserts us to speak with the people that just arrived, we are left to show ourselves the house.
-We decide we want the house. The relator has one application. Fine - we make our own copy, send it back in within hours. We speak with Cara at the office, everything is in motion.... Until, they call the next day to say the house has been rented by someone else. When, was this?? The house had been on craigslist for over a month.
-We start looking again, only to see the same house come back up on craigslist the next week. You would think they would give a call to see if we are still interested - not a chance!! I have to call the office to inquire. Cara tells me the house is back on the market, the other people decided they didn't want it. 
-Great, we can rent the house! Nope, after mailing in the applications and check, waiting several days. I email Cara to see where we are in the process only to be told they rented the house to someone else. This absolutely ridiculous! We have excellent credit, employment, and rental history - suggesting they are either discriminating or have no clue how to run a realty business. 

Wilder Associates has completely wasted precious weeks of our time searching for a house and acted in a very unprofessional manner. I would advise against hiring to them to lease your house or be in the unfortunate situation of trying to lease a house listed under their company. 

Note: All the other reviews appear to be written by the same person.... someone from their company perhaps.

I am extremely satisfied with Wilder Associates, Inc.  They are very professional and provide the best customer service!!!!

Jim has been the property manager where I have rented now for the 4th year. He is nothing but professional, courteous, and responsive to needs. He cares about the tenants needs as well as the owners. I would highly recommend him as a property manager.
