I ordered one of my daughters birthday cakes here and it was very delicious. I got a marble cake with vanilla custard and bananas filling with buttercream icing. The cake design i wanted was pretty simple and they did a good job at meeting my expectations. The place is a bit pricier than some other places around this area but you do get what you pay for.

Went in on a difficult day and got a wonderful experience. Coffee, a cupcake, and great service on a bad day was nice. Thanks Baker Wee. :)

I've used Baker Wee twice for cakes... I used them for my birthday cake last year, and this year for my wedding cake. I asked them to make me a cake based on one I saw online. I provided the base plate and flowers/topper were added later by my mother-in-law. The top tier was red velvet, and the bottom was white cake with butter cream frosting. They were very good about their communication. Unfortunately, they kept wanting to know what I wanted as far as freezing b/c we had a two-hour commute to Sedona... I know nothing about what freezing cakes does for its taste, etc. We did a Saturday pick-up, and I don't think they ended up freezing the cake. It traveled just fine. My only complaint about the cake was that the red velvet had a bitter after-taste, but the white cake and frosting were absolutely delicious! They put support dowels in the cake, but nothing on top to actually support the toppers, so they sank in the middle a little bit. I am not deterred, and will continue to use Baker-Wee for my cake needs. Also, when splitting the cake cost (making payments), be aware that you will pay tax on it every time. I attempted to pay off the cake so that I had a flat fee of $50 due, and ended up paying an additional $4 in taxes, which was unexpected. Their cookies are delicious by the way!

Baker Wee ruined my birthday! Did you know that their cakes are three days old when you pick them up according to owner, Sienna? My husband is broken hearted because we have limited time together for my birthday which he took off of work for and Baker Wee has now ruined. I called them because my husband just picked up a cake for my birthday today to enjoy quickly before I go out of town for five days. He brought it home, put candles on it quickly and we tried to cut it... TRIED! It's frozen! It came out in frozen chunks when we got a knife through it. Sienna's fix was for us to drive the pieces of the cake all the way back and they'll make a new one after explaining it takes three days to make it, first day to bake the cake, then cool, then set the frosting and a third day to decorate it. Had no idea we were buying a three day old cake or we wouldn't have paid $50 for it knowing it will be trashed before I get home from my trip. I wish I could post a picture but I plan to on Yelp so go look. Sienna said the cakes had to be moved Sunday and she thinks someone accidentally put it in the walk in freezer instead of walk in cooler. She admits the mistake but doesn't seem to care she ruined my birthday time with my husband so we will never be returning!!!! No refund for ruining my birthday cake - nothing! Don't use Baker Wee unless you have a back up cake!!!

I have been going into this bakery for many years now and have always admired the exquisite custom cakes awaiting pick up in the refrigerators. Recently, I ordered a unicorn cake for my granddaughter's birthday. I ordered the cake and provided the photo of the cake and the decorator stated that they would "make the cake exactly like the photo." I even paid "in full" at the time of order because I had only the highest expectations for this bakery based on the cakes that I had seen there. On the day of the party I picked up the cake at 11am as arranged and loaded it in the truck. As I was driving I looked closer at the cake and realized the discrepancies. I even pulled over on the 303 to pull up the photo that I had provided and noticed that the horn looked more like a candle than a horn (nothing like the photo), the mane consisted of three colors; green, pink, and white, and did not come down and around like the cake in the photo which consisted of every pastel color in the rainbow. Also, the cake was white so I was confused as to why white was one of the colors in the mane. The eyes had no eyelashes and the gold frosting was smeared on the cake from an obvious mistake that had not been corrected. I was extremely disappointed and distraught as to what I could do at this late time. I was to deliver the cake in 30 minutes with my granddaughter expecting a unicorn cake, all of her decorations were unicorn themed at the party, and here I sat on the 303 trying to consider what my options were; which were none at this point. I took the cake on to the party, but everyone there agreed that the cake ordered was nothing like the cake I received. My daughter and I even had to try and fix the smeared gold mistake the best we could. I e-mailed the two photos to my friend in Tennessee who owns a cake decorating bakery and her words to quote exactly were, "they did a terribly awful job, and I would have not ever allowed such a poor quality cake to leave my shop." She went on to state that the unicorn cake has been quite popular and she has made many just like the photo that I submitted at time of order. Needless to say, I trusted that Baker Wee would make an exquisite cake for our special event and they did not meet my expectations. I still do not understand how the decorator could even think that the cake she decorated looked like the photo of the cake provided. Unfortunately, this was the first time and will be the last time that I order a custom cake from this bakery. Buyer beware, especially if you provide a photo....this is quite alarming!
