Story

Welcome to My Goodness Cakes. We are a cute little coffee, cupcake and custom cake shop just north of the 101 on Cave Creek Road. Stop by for a yummy cupcake and iced latte or pick up a dozen to take home to your friends. Beautiful one of a kind centerpiece cakes featuring both fondant and rustic buttercream designs. We open on Memorial Day 2008 in Sunnyslope and after a couple years moved into the Grand Avenue arts district where we then moved January 1, 2013 to our new location in North Phoenix. Thank you to all our wonderful customers who have helped us grow and return time and time again.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with the customer service we received from Brian at My Goodness Cakes! Our intention was to go to several bakeries for tastings for our wedding cake, but after tasting his cakes, we knew we wanted him to make ours! I stopped in several times to discuss details with Brian, and he was extremely accommodating and pleasant each time. He even let me have a cupcake on each of my visits! When Brian delivered our wedding cake, it was everything I asked for and more. He did such an amazing job! It was beautiful and more delicious than I could possibly describe. We had also ordered a gluten-free birthday cake for whatever guests, and that too, was beautiful and tasted incredible. I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone… And I plan on ordering dozens of cupcakes for our office parties this holiday season.

I got married in 2013 and My Goodness Cakes did our cake. They did an AMAZING job and I was so bummed I couldn’t eat the whole cake myself! We got a three tiered cake and it turned out exactly how I wanted. The staff was so easy to work with and the price couldn’t be beat!!!

The ABSOLUTE BEST place for cakes! My daughter loved it ! Service is outstanding ! The cake I was made was incredibly delicious super moist! Definately worth the drive ! Don’t hesitate to put your order in with Brian he won’t let you down ! Thank you so so much My Goodness Cakes definately will be going back!

I ordered a Woodland theme baby shower cake and provided a photo from Pinterest. The cake was fairly complex and I was a bit nervous how it would turn out but when I saw the cake I was blown away! They nailed the design right down to the individual forest animals and the base that looked like a tree trunk. The cake was the centerpiece of my friend's baby shower and the guests not only raved about how the cake looked but how it tasted. I've never been to an event where a whole cake was gobbled up so quickly! Most of the attendees were either instructors or clients of a fitness studio where I teach and let's just say I didn't except them to eat a sliver of cake much less go back for seconds. Cannot recommend Brian and team enough. Very easy to communicate with and very talented cake decorators!

I paid $154 for a wedding cake that fed 24. It looked like a cake that was a step below a grocery store style cake. Honestly would have been better off purchasing one from Albertson's. It was a total rip off. Extremely disappointment. I pretty much threw the whole thing away because the flavor was awful as well.
