This was our first camping trip with our pop-up. We visited in late October. The trees seemed to be in peak color. The area was absolutely gorgeous! Everyone was very friendly from the Ranger we meet at the visitors center all the way to the fellow campers. The campground was clean and well kept. We stayed on loop "C" and our camp site was off to itself and not right on top of another camp site. Each loop has its own playground and bathhouse. The bathhouse was well kept and clean. I was very impressed by this being our first experience there and not knowing what to expect. They also have a very nice centrally located playground beside their pool. There's lots of outdoor things to do like hiking, fishing, etc. I would highly recommend Bandy Creek to anyone looking just to get outdoors for a day or for a great camping trip!!

We had an awesome time camping. The playground was perfect for our daughter and our site was accommodating and spaced well away from other campers. We didn't have a place for our hammock, but we scouted out some other sites that would for next time. There could have been better directional signage, when we got there everything was closed, and we didn't see a campground map or even know where the camp store was. My main complaint, the camp store was not well stocked and was often closed, and the firewood was not dry or seasoned. The bathrooms were clean and showers had good pressure. We loved the nearby hiking and we cant wait to go back.

Clean, accessible to trails, helpful park service staff. No problem finding a space on Thanksgiving weekend. Facilities are clean and heated, bearproof food storage bins are convenient (and no sign of bears so everyone is doing their part!). We'll definitely be back to Bandy Creek.

Super nice campground. Really clean and we'll maintained bathrooms. Close to good hiking.
