My husband and I stayed in our tent at one of the camper/tent campsites at the end of February, during a rainy weekend. It was lovely! There were hardly any other campers so it was very quiet and peaceful. The grounds were well kept and clean, including the bathroom. We went on a couple hikes and they were also well kept. :) Definitely will be back for camping here!

Beautiful scenery especially river and waterfalls...main office staff person was especially welcoming and helpful. Very friendly and went out of way to assist. Cabin was exceptional, clean, nicely equipped, clear instructions on use of gas fireplace and TV, and recently renovated. Would highly recommend.

Went there to hike the trails with my family. The trail was too steep for my mom and dad to hike... definitely wear boots or athletic shoes with good tread. And be ready to work!

Our local hidden Gem! We go camping at Rock Island many times a year. Great Kayaking, fishing, swimming and hiking. Lots of waterfalls and natural wonders here to see.

Definitely ranks in the top 2 or 3 parks in the state. The views are beautiful and the amenities are well kept and many. A great place to visit any time of year.
