Very nice park and nice staff too. I am fussy about the showers and laundry but was so pleased to see they were both immaculate, cleanest yet! They literally had garbage cans at one end of our space so you won't have to run around searching for a dumpster. There are permanent RV's but they are in one spot away from the temporary ones. I would refer this park to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Soaring Eagle. We had an RV site next to the lake and the view was lovely. After walking around the campground, we sat outside until well after dark watching osprey and blue herons fly past us. We did not use the restrooms so I can't speak to that. Check in was easy and the lady in the office pleasant. The only downside was freeway noise but what are you going to do? Any campground that is "easy on, easy off" the highway is going to be next to it. Pretty soon we didn't hear it unless an unusually noisy truck went by on the bridge.

The campground is very convenient to the highway. The staff is very helpful and friendly--we felt welcome here. I just loved the clean, well-equipped laundry room; since we are full-time RVers, I need to use campground laundry rooms and am sometimes disappointed but not here. Great! We had one of the sites down the hill on the water and enjoyed the view. However, that meant we needed to dump on the way out of the campground. Because of the layout of the dump station, we blocked the driveway and gate for anyone else trying to come or go from that waterfront area. This needs improvement--not sure what the answer is, though.

We actually extended our stay because we were having such a nice time. The laundry facilities were the cleanest we had seen in a long time. Our dogs were able to have wonderful walks around the wooded sections of the campground and we were happy to see most people were good about cleaning up after their pets. The most memorable thing was how nice and accommodating the staff and owners of Soaring Eagle were. They were always so helpful, pleasant, and hard working. Joy Clowers is so thoughtful. She called us after the hurricane hit FL to see if we had any damage to our property. That is truly above and beyond what I would have ever expected a campground staff member to do. Thank you Joy. You are the best.

Not a place to stay long term . The power is not clean and I've had to had them replace breakers twice. They lost one leg and fried my thermostat. The water pipes freeze on their end and you can go days without water.
