Long post sorry I really hate this place and couldn’t be happier that our wellness plan is up this month! If you want the absolute minimum care for your pet this could be the place for you, but if you love your animal like family you better not get yourself stuck in one of their wellness plans like we did. Here’s why: A few months ago my 1 year old poodle started to lay down and shake her paw she wasn’t eating drinking or playing which was extremely unusual for her when I called I was told they were short staffed and could see her for 4 more days and on the 4th day they didn’t have room for an appointment they wanted her dropped off at 9am and I could pick her up again at 5pm. We don’t crate our dog so that wasn’t an option for us even though we were told with our plan we would have same day sick visits so 140$ and an er visit later I made a complaint with the company and they offered to pay our next months wellness plan payment, which I accepted seeing as I was now out 140$ because they were short staffed and didn’t have time! Fast forward to this week my poodle started to drool uncontrollably and looked like she was having a hard time swallowing I called and was told we are short staffed and close in 45 minutes I don’t have time to see her but if you want we can mover your wellness visit up a month my response was so in the meantime I’m supposed to hope this uncontrollable drooling is nothing serious? And then she said well u can drop her off at 9am tomorrow and we’ll see her in between other patients, again not crating her due to her anxiety that wasn’t an issue and I asked if I could make an appointment instead and I was told no that’s the only kind of appointment I can make for you so annoyed I hung up and called ocean state and they told me they recommend I bring her in right away thank god I did, and didn’t wait 300$ later a prescription a fluid injection and a bland diet but my baby is doing much better that wouldn’t be the case if I followed the carelessness of banfield. Sorry for the long post but I think it’s important that you know these things before signing a year of awful “medical” care with them. And Incase anyone was curious u can get pet insurance for around the same price and u can take your pet to a place that really cares! Seriously look into it!

I always thought they were great in Warwick until today. My shepherd who is a regular patient and was just seen last week for his immunizations, was denied care until next week for a very painful draining ear infection. They Claimed they only had one vet on staff and she did not have time to see him until next week. Usually they give you the option to drop off in am and leave for the day but I was denied that option because during our previous visit I left my other shepherd home and the two dogs are inseparable, so he became very anxious and nipped at tech after his injection. They declared him aggressive for the first time since bringing him there for 4 years. That was their reason for not letting him spend the day. I agreed he could be muzzled as I would rather have a healthy sad dog then a very sick dog not being treated by his vet. Banfield was not cooperating at all. I then called Johnston Banfield who took him in to see great Dr who thought he was well behaved and the md thought the relationship between the two dogs was fascinating. It was as if the female was the mother not the sister. He gave him medicine and sent us on our way. I will try Banfield again but only Johnston as my female shepherd has wellness plan and as long as they get her seen, I am fine.

I loved Dr Jackson as well as the staff. She was very thorough with my dogs exam and was honest with me regarding possible treatments. It's not easy to trust someone regarding your pets health, but I do feel she is knowledgable beyond her years and truly loves what she does! That is why I will continue to go here and recommend her to anyone! 🐶 💗

The staff are just sooo friendly and are there to help you out when you and your kittycat needs help! They treat my kittycat as if he was their furry baby and I can trust them with my pet. I am always so grateful to have them and just love them! 😻😻

The staff is really friendly and are always able to address any questions I may have about my puppy. Dr. Jackson is a great doctor and their wellness plan has been a really good deal. Will definitely continue to bring my puppy here!
