All they want its money. They trick you into a contract then try to sell you something else I your visit. Please don't sign up for this. They are cruel to your pet.insisting they need training.of course at pet smart! They test your dog for parasites and even if it comes back negative they give them wormer..i had my dog titered to see if she was immune and she was. They still want to give her shots. And because i missed an appointment want to charge me for an extra shot. Wtf...charge me for something i allready payed for

Honestly don't believe they care about the animals at all. They just want to charge you as much as they can when ever they can. They guilt trip you into getting more shots than u need. Just got a brand new puppy and I had to pay about 1000 for " everything he needed" although most of it he did not need. These people are money hungry and the female Dr. Is rude.

I had been with this vet hospital for a little over a year & couldn't wait to cancel my wellness plan with them. I have a 6 year old pug who is in pretty decent health other than the fact that she has breath that smells like death. All the employees here are nice every single time I come in. BUT, I don't have much respect for the people caring for my animal. Lola is my dog's name & the first time she came here, my mom picked the vet because she was the only one able to take her in at the time because I had to work. So when she put her info in, it listed her as the owner when we don't even live in the same house. They would call her about my dog & told me there was no way to change it in their system. Then I signed up for a plan to pay $37 a month which I was told would save me money & she needed a tooth cleaning because her breath was from a dirty tooth & this would keep me from paying $400 for a tooth cleaning? Less than 3 days later my dogs breath was back to normal which makes me think they did a crappy job or that it wasn't the source of the problem. But because of these professionals, they may care about your animals but they look for every reason to give your pet a shot or medicine or any way to get you to spend more money. I stopped coming to this vet because every time I came they would make me feel like I wasn't doing my job as a pet parent by sending me home with dog mint samples & when I told them I didn't have the money to pay for a heartworm medication, the girl got snappy with me & said, "well the difference between this money now is not having to pay $2,000 later" trying to make me feel obligated to pay an overly priced amount for something precautionary every single month on top of everything else I pay for her. I might as well just had two cars if I was going to pay that much a month.THEN, when I took her in one day because she was in severe pain, I find out that it was because she was constipated. Then the vet makes me feel as though it is my fault. He does an X-ray on her & a doggy enema & whatever else they can think of to bill me. If it wasn't for my plan, they were going to charge me nearly $600 for all of that. Just to get my dog to take a decent poop. Instead I paid $350 from my plan. But I bet I could have found a reasonable vet with a reasonable price. They also tell me she has some arthritis & suggest to buy this $50 bag of food every month along with this $30 mixture to put over her food. THEN, they call me saying she's ready to go home. I pick her up & walk out of the building only to instantly smell something gross. I look down & there is FECES all over my jacket. It got all over my car. I could hardly drive home. I can't believe they sent my dog home dirty like that after the bill they gave me. They couldn't manage to put a diaper on her??? Then I get her home only to have to have her stay outside for two hours because she still is leaking feces everywhere. She also has a flea allergy & gets miserable without medication. But every time I come here looking for relief for her, they don't want to just give me the pill for her allergy which is only $30 I believe. They say she needs to be on an antibiotic... Another precautionary charge of $70. So if I didn't have my plan, that's $100 total plus a $30 pay for a vet visit which would cost someone new $130 just for some relief for your fur child. I was going to school at the time so anyone knows that a college student doesn't have this kind of money to hand over to an over priced & unprofessional facility for precautionary items. The employees are great & friendly. But the actual people caring for your animal will try to milk you like a cash cow & make you feel obligated or inadequate for not going above & beyond to pay for expensive precautionary items. I will still shop at PetSmart but please do yourself a favor & find a local vet. These people try to make it sound simple when it's really just an unnecessary hassle. Your wellness plan will also renew automatically if you don't cancel a week beforehand. So just something to look out for.

Was quoted $250 for foot xray. Down the street, xray, office visit, splint, pain meds, and heartworm test with small supply was half the xray price.
