I called asking about surrendering a found kitten, that I am unable to keep but have cared for over the weekend until I could place her in a shelter or with a rescue program. She is super sweet and will make somebody a great companion, and is comfortable with other cats and dogs. The only thing is, after being abandoned the poor thing sustained some injuries and is eaten alive with fleas (which I treated her for). She needs veterinary attention. The gentleman here told me that if I bring her to them they will 100% euthanize her because they wont provide animals with medical attention. I was infuriated to hear this, as she appears to be in fairly good health outside of that, and is definitely adoptable. She does not deserve to die because they are to lazy to provide minimal veterinary care. I will NOT be bringing her here, and would recommend boycotting this horrible place.

I am an elderly lady living in a place for the elderly. Yesterday afternoon I saw a little skunk, he was either sick or hurt, could hardly move, I called and reported it, their response was " I'll send someone". No one ever came. This morning the manager called (about 5 or 6) times. About an hour ago they finally came, but it was too late for the little  skunk! So sad!!

I'm not sure why it says my name is J Doe. It's Jana Beller and I am a proud shelter volunteer for 4 years.  Day in and day out I see the staff have to deal with all kinds of animal issues every single day whether it be strays,  owner surrenders,  animal bites, cruelty cases and even loose livestock.  I COMMEND the job they do because I certainly couldn't. Thank you Midwest City Animal Welfare. 💟💟

I adopted a dog from them over a year ago and they were helpful, kind and compassionate towards the animals. The few times I visited before taking my dog home, they were in their Spirit trailer taking/or had already left for adoption events to try and find the animals homes. I know they are also in contact with many rescues so they are truly trying to help the animals. I so appreciate ALL they do!! And all the wonderful volunteers too!! They are in a constantly sad, difficult, never ending cycle of seeing so many animals in need. Thank you for rescuing and taking care of my wonderful German shepherd mix until she came to my forever home!!! If only everyone would spay/neuter and adopt.

I went to turn in a vulnteer application. 
I started to speak about how much  I love and help abandoned animals. I felt like I was verbally attacked.  I was told that I'm wrong for it and a law breaker. That taking in a animal that need help and rehoming them is illegal. I was asked what do I do with the animal I said I help them then I find them a good home. I immediately  was verbally atacked being  told that's illegal and what I am supposed to do. I was agreeing  saying i do we do do that again and again. It didn't matter i was just being attacked.  I have always been there for animals in every way I can to make sure they are healthy, happy and have  a great home. 
To be attacked and told I'm wrong is extremely hurtful and I felt threatened.
It's not a safe place to be.
Another place that likes the say so on a animals life.

A while back there were three pit mix puppies I'm my neighborhood.   I called a couple of different places to see if anyone is missing them, it was cold outside at the time. 
  I was never told that I need to bring them in instead I was asked if I'm able to keep and take care of them. 

I don't trust any of these places anymore never will I call or vist again.
