Nice people and not expensive if you go with a plan. And when my cat passed they let me out of the plan's contract early!

If I was to rate this place yesterday I would say 5 stars. They were always able to get us in and took good care of my pets. Even the very difficult time when we had to put down our dog. Could not have asked for a nicer staff. My cat has had a blocked bladder issue in the past and we have taken him to the pet ER both times since it was either the middle of the night or vets were closed. But today was a Saturday and he had another episode and we called to get him in first thing and they said they didn't have a Dr. Available to do that procedure?! Umm so your a pet hospital with no vet available? Ok... Well they directed us to the pet ER. We were trying to avoid that because of cost reasons but took the cat there anyway. I just feel they didnt want to deal with the situation on a Saturday. Just really not happy with the way the situation was handled knowing that cat can die within hours of the symptoms. So thanks for not helping us today....

They were nice enough to take my dog last minute when his nail split and our vet was closed. However, they are way overpriced and didnt even fix the issue. We spent $140 at Banfield to get a quick fix. We still had to go our vet and spent $155 to get a real long term solution. Ill stick to Carroll County Vet.

Dr. Tawnya Hopkins (aka: Dr. Hops) is one the most amazing veterinarian I've ever met. We went through 5 different vetrinarian offices prior to going to Dr. Hopkins at Banfield in Westminster. All 5 of them were scared of our dog who is a gentle giant. One lady pinned her knees into his chest and they all wanted to sedate him. The dog is big, but he isn't vicious or aggressive in anyway shape or form. he thinks he's a lap dog. He doesn't do well in the car and was a little car sick. We explained that to them. Dr Hopkins took her time with him. she took the time to get to know him. She has never once needed or wanted to sedate him in any way. She is very thorough with his medications and his care. She also sees my older cat and our new kitten. I will never go to another vet for as long as Dr. Hops is practicing. Not to mention the rest of the staff there are amazing. they do whatever they can to get you an appointment whether it is an emergency or just a regular visit convenient for you and what is best for your animal. They work on Holidays. I just had our kitten there on Easter Sunday. Dr. Hopkins and the entire support staff at Banfield are amazing.

This is be best Banfield pet hospital I have been to. The staff was very friendly. The facility is clean. And they were very caring towards my dog, they treated him with love and care.
